ntry that has experienced slave trade atrocities for about 300 years should know the implication of labour rules.These Labour Office concept was created by the British in the Gold Coast for a special purpose.Today in Ghana many people even do not know if really labour offices exit.I am not even sure it has any purpose today because people don't have any confidence in it.Today, we all know that without bribe or connexion you can't job.Everything is Ndc and Npp, bribery and corruption is the order of the day.You can stay Takoradi or Tarkwa where they need workers there but the big men will go and collect bribes in Accra or Kumasi to bring unqualified workers.How can we develop with this? If you know the history of the Labour Office, you will see that it was created purposely to employ people living in that area.Therefore, govt should have built many offices as the population increases.We have never seen labour offices springing up anywhere for the last 50 years.Why?

train them to understand that if you don't work you can eat ! this will force them to work at any price, lower the general pay in Ghana and make Ghana a more competitive producer of anything we can export, on the long run this will get Ghana out of the economic crisis and nothing else will.

(Do you understand jubilee at all? What is the meaning of flagstaff? May be that is where your non achiever problems began. Labour department to national employment centre will do nothing sir non achiever. We have heard and seen all these before

Job creation can make the difference but not just changing the name of LABOUR OFFICES INTO EMPLOYMENT CENTRES.
We tend to make changes to experience a better situation,environment,position etc.
This is a fruitless change.
