It cost 50p to buy a ball of kenkey, by 2003 in just 3yrs the same size of kenkey was sold for 4000p. Kuffour came to power at a time a gallon of petrol was 6.5cedis in just 3months they increased it to 10.00 and after another 3months increased it from 10 to 20. Cement was increased from 6.8cds to 17cds in just 4months. Primary school children were enjoying free education under the FCUBE. It was kuffour who introduced the 2500cedis sports fee forcing many poor children to drop out. As for private schools your guess is just like mine.

Who were the benefiaries? They were all NPP appointees, Judges, Senior Police and Army officers, party bosses and the like. Take the leadership of the Security Services, Military, Police, Immigration, Customs and Prisons. How come all of them were Akans? Were there no qualified personnel from other ethnic groups? Yes the wealth was created by the property owning party and enjoyed by family and friends. Jake needs to come again.

Furthermore, it is the case that NPP had put a number of social interventions in place, no two ways about that.
However, when it comes to prioritising education, NPP comes nowhere near NDC. It is only NDC that has added up to public Universities built by the late Dr. Nkrumah.Again NDC saw to it that there was at least a polytechnic in every Region in the country. NDC also instituted the GET FUND,which has been a major source of funding for major educational projects in the country.
Vote buying is a very bad phenomenon in our body politics, and Jake cannot limit vote buying to only NDC. NPP equally stands accused. It is endemic in their intra politics. Was Paul Afoko not ever beaten at one of their congresses for vote buying? Again, recently in Tamale, where Jake lost miserably, we heard the NPP minority leader complained bitterly about vote buying in their own internal elections.If NPP, a Party Jake led for so many years, is buried to the neck in vote buying in their own backyard,then he Jake has no moral right to accuse anybody or groups of people of vote buying. And if Jake can buy a GHANA'S TAXPAYERS' BUNGALOW, then he has no moral right to accuse anyone of keeping Ghanaians in poverty, because the value between him,(Jake) and the one he, Jake is accusing, is the same.
