This alone shows where we are as Ghanaians.How can the so-called Somalian journalist compare her terrorists and pirates infested country to Ghana?If people believe Mahama and his NDC government are on the right track, they must look at the unemployment,inflation,healthcare breakdown,bribery and corruption,poor electricity and water supply,the fallen Ghana currency,bad roads,poor sanitation,skyrocketing prices of goods and services,high fuel prices and how people find it very difficult to buy common carbohydrate food to eat.etc.

As an Ashante and akan I feel so ashamed when we start to look at the records of the presidents and the prime ministers and military rulers since our independent.Beginning with the first president Osagyefo Dr.Kwame Nkrumah who obtained the independent with his CPP party without UGCC which was opposed to independence.When Nkrumah came to power the only things the colonialist had in the country was high courts and Osu castle where the governor of the colony Gold Coast was living and small few wood buildings as minitries of the entire nation with the railway lines leading to the minerals areas to bring the minerals to the coastlines at Sekondi-Takoradi.After otaining the independence, Nkrumah started to build Tema and the harbour,improved the Takoradi harbour,built the ministries in the capital Accra and the other four cities namely Kumasi,Cape Coast,Sunyani and Tamale as well as built morden estate houses in all the cities.He built all the highways and first class feeding roads to link the major cities and towns.He sent young brilliant Ghanaians to abroad to be trained in aviation,shipping,atomic energy,medical doctors industrialist etc.By nineteen sixties Ghana could boast of Ghana Airways,Black Star Shipping line,multiple medical doctors and all Ghanaian airline and ships pilotted and maintaned by Ghainian pilots,Engineers,Captains stewards and crew competing countries like Singapore,Malaysia,Indonesia,Honkong etc.After the coup of 1966 afteronly Nine yeats of Osagyefo rule with all these achievements coparable to any developed and civilised nation, major Afrifah,UGCC-NPP Busia,captain Ankrah,Captan Acheampong,destroyed Ghana railway services,Ghana government small industries,national departmental stores like kingsways Ntc,Ghana Black star shipping lines.Finally,when Kuffour and his NPP government came on they sold Ghana AIRWAYS WHICH HAS LASTED FOR more than forty five years and sold the Ghana telecommunication to Vodafone destroying Ghana scientific base and brain-drain and above all left office leaving Ghana highways,roadsand fly-overs duty uncompleted Which has now almost completed by Presidents Attah-Mills and Mahama NDC goverments.NDC governments have never sold so many Ghana assetts as NPP governments and the Akan led military governments.Yet we Akans keep on abusing the NDC led governments and presidents like Rawlings,Attah-Mills and Mahamah without any proofs or justfication.Long live Ghana,Long live Dr Nkrumah and all the good presidents who have cotributed to development of the nation.
