How can Rawlings who planted seeds of discord, hatred and tribalism among the tribes of Ghana as well as massive corruption, massacre, loot and share etc etc be honoured with degrees? Have those fools in the university coumcil forgotten that it was Rwwlings who destroyed Ghana's education, stole our money to educate his children in prestigious school and universities overseas? Is it not Rawlings who destroyed our hospitals and introduced Cash and carry system but has been going abroad for healthcare as well as his wife and children? If ghanaians were not fools, Rawlings would have been eliminated like his partner in crime, Sanny Abacha. Imagine Boakye Gyan and Afari Gyan also being honoured by some useless chiefs in Brong Ahafo. Honorary doctoral degree cans never being misunderstood as doctor of academic, except in a Ghana where literacy has eaten the fabric of the society as we are seeing among Ghanaians who out of ignorance cry of split milk.
Doctors of profession like medical doctors also knew their tittle as not a doctor of academic. Research still revealed that 2% of the total population in the world holds an academic doctoral degree period.
