The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.
1. Put pressure on the President and your MP (representative) on a daily basis.
2. Watch Ghana TV News everyday
3. Have a stock pile of the tentative drugs (antiviral agents) at home.
4. If you have a relative who is a doctor or a virologist living outside Ghana ask him or her to come back home and help.
5. If possible buy acquire the ebola protective garment (body condom)
6. Do not like School of Medical Sciences KNUST.

Hand washing with warm water and soap is the best way to prevent diseases.In the Ghanaian environment of filth,lack of adequate running water and lack of proper sewage system,hand sanitizers alone cannot help.In the United States most people use hand sanitizers after washing their hands with warm and soapy water.Instead of applying for World Bank loans for unnecessary projects,water and sewage must be the Government's priority.
