Npp has all the top lawyers, professors, doctors, lecturers and veteran politicians who should know when to call quit.Let me be clear here, in politics if your electoral results begin to decline then you should give way to another person to carry on the leadership.Let me give you an example, when the British Conservatives found out that Margret Thatcher's electoral fortunes have declined in third time elections as Prime Minister.Her party did not wait a second to let her step down.Looking at Nana Addo's electoral results, one could only see a dwindling affair.The testimony speaks for itself, it is not getting any better for Nana Addo and party is making a very big mistake to return into the battlefield.You see Margret Thacther was even a Prime Minister in power but because she won with a very little margin below the previous elections her party told her that she has come to the end of the circle so she must step down.Ntow is right to call a spade a spade but will his party members follow.Ofcourse, they may not like Alan but the change have to come.Thank you.

That is a totally different scenario to that of a presidential hopeful.
The calls for Margret Thatcher to step down was unanimous, majority of her own party people didn't like her, it wasn't a few voices in the conservative party asking her to. She had managed to pi** off two many people worst of all the labour union and her position had become untenable.

Your analysis is not always the case, you can chose to believe it or not, the 2012 elections was rigged pure and simple. It was complacency on the part of NPP that allowed the rigging to take place and NPP attempting to close the stable doors after the horse had bolted. No matter who NPP presents for 2016 if they do not police the polling stations and protect the ballot box with eagle eyes, they will lose again. NDC has accused all pastors, nurse's, Doctors, teacher, lawyers, labour unions as NPP supporters, so who voted for NDC?
Moreover, if floating voters decide to side with NDC and vote this incompetent govt back into power in 2016, who suffers? It won't be just NPP supporters, country broke or e no broke we all dey inside.

The dwindling electoral fortunes that you refer to is a complete fallacy, as an extensive analysis of ten 2012 election does reveal some interesting statistical observations. it will interest you to know that since the inception of the 4th Republic all Presidents including JJ Rawlings have dropped at least 400bp (4%) of their first election votes . Kufuor dropped 4% in 2004. Mills would have definitely dropped votes. John Mahama scrapped through with 50.7% of the total ote cast and a drop of a percent will see him out of power, so can you tell me that given his governance, this will be an impossible task for Nana? Dr Bawumia has proven his economic credentials to the average Ghanaian and it is all about the economy, which will need a lot of attention in the sort to medium term. The conditions that prevailed before the 2012 elections have changed considerably and people do recognize the need for better leaders, and this in effect disqualifies Mr Kyerematen.

You see, you have taken a different angle of the same debate.I cannot understand why some Npp members and supporters don't accept that Nana Addo lost the 2012 presidential elections fairly.It seems you agree with me about the effects of dwindling electoral fortunes in principle.From what you suggested as poor performance of Mahama and the history of the 4th Republic it means he might not get 50.7% in 2016.Don't think that I would like to see Mahama reelected,far from that.Everybody wants a change of govt but I am not sure Nana is the person to unseat Mahama for many tangible reasons.It is also not prudent for Npp to take that high avoidable risk.You see, if you a leader who is always winning 2 regions out of 10 , my friend you have legitimate right to look for another leader.Do you want an Npp govt or Nana Addo's predidency.Let me give you another scenero, what will Npp do if Nana wins the presidency but Ndc wins the legislature? The party has a substantive asset and resource in Nana Addo and will not in any way or under any circumstance experiment with the shallow Alan. Our country now, more than any time in its history need well grounded and visionary leaders to turn it round from the historic incompetence of the NDC. This is no time for jokes or experiments. The country is in "eye red" mode and not ready for any cosmetic leadership.

First you wrote that everybody in the party hates Alan. If that is the case, why can't he step down for Akufo-Addo since the very people Alan would be working with should in case he becomes Prez. they would not put well with him? Secondly, you said that when Alan wanted to stand for leasdership role in 1996, the elders pleaded with him to give chance to the seniors. If what you have said is correct, why don't you ask Alan to give Akufo-Addo the benefit of becoming the leader and learn under him? Thirdly, why should you plead with the leaders and Nana Addo to give Alan a chance knowing well that Alan can't score on that note. Next time try to put up a strong defence instead of a JSS leaver's approach to negotiation.

He should fire him immediately and start his quest for the position again because, Ohene Ntow is burying him 6ft under. Is this the position of Alan K? Does Alan K believe in competition? Surely, this can never be the position of Alan K, and he should fire Ohene Ntow because he has become a liability to him and would continue to grope in the dark and never find his bearings with Ohene Ntow. I feel extremely scandalized by this piece from Ohene Ntow and clearly, Alan K although one of the best materials out there, needs time to find his bearing and position himself for the top job.
