Nana’s sources of income did not come from his personal sweat. He is where he is as a result of the booty bequeathed to him by what his father looted from the economy and also the bribe his father took, serving as a traitor to overthrow Dr.Kwame Nkrumah. Now that he has used up all the wealth through dirty campaign and empty litigations, what he thinks of doing is using his demonstration talent to buy the conscience and lobby by using corrupt minds in leadership position in the country; some of them who pose as men of God, to chastise Government and make the country unstable. The tactics of Nana Addo is nothing new to what his father did to Ghanaians. Their sole interest is to make every regime ungovernable by castigating lies, ugly insults, throwing bombs, killing women, burning markets, lengthy shallow litigations in courts and false alarm blowers. What can they boast of themselves and what have they achieved for Ghana? They want Ghanaians to be sub-servants to them whilst in their own thinking and mental deliberations; they remain perpetually slaves to neo colonialism. From his birth he was thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis. If you are a discern citizen, I will entreat you sit up and think, get knowledge and don’t sell your conscience to these reckless generation who don’t care about you than to seek their self interest

Experts may also come from other opposition parties or other walks of life. Change your perspective towards politics and governance and all will be well. Alan is the Best bet for the NPP in 2016

Hon. Alan Kyerematen, the Candidate who comes into the 2016 elections as a lawyer, business developer, human resource developer, diplomat, economist, and trade expert, will be the 5th John of the 4th Republic. He will turn 61 years by December 2016, an age which acts as a bridge between the young and the aged. For the benefit of those who might not know Alan well, this write-up reveals his managerial experience, remarkable achievements, and vision for both the NPP and Ghana.

Alan has been a leading young stalwart and key strategist of the NPP since its inception in 1992. He has served on the highest decision-making bodies of the party such as, NPP National Executive Committee (NEC), NPP Economic Management Team, and NPP Finance Committee. Alan's loyalty to the party is unquestionable, for he remains the only politician in Ghana to have willingly stepped down to enable Nana Addo contest the 2008 general elections.

Though he was neither the Campaign Manager nor running-mate in the last elections, Alan helped to increase the Ashanti Region votes by 5% during the 2008 run-off. In 2012, Alan campaigned in Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo, Greater Accra Regions. He attended the IEA debate with Nana Addo, and co-authored the 2012 NPP manifesto. He supported the party's SC petition by maximizing all the 5 accreditation cards given him. He contributed financially and materially to the 2012 campaign.

At age 22, Alan became the Manager of UAC Ghana Ltd, a subsidiary of Unilever International. He was AU's Trade Envoy; UNDP's Chief Executive, Enterprise Africa; Founder of EMPRETEC; UN's Economic Commission for Africa expert; Chairman of Young Executive Forum (YEF); Ambassador to the US; Minister of Trade, Industry, and PSI; Founder of John Young & Associates; Immediate past trade advisor for the AU. Just last year, Alan was chosen by the AU for the position of the Director General of World Trade Organisation (WTO). With this rich experience, Alan is well-positioned to manage the economy of Ghana. Because of his humility, posture, and charisma, most NDC members are rooting for him to take over from Mahama.

Alan has solid record of achievements in both private and public life. As an Ambassador to the US, he established the US-Ghana Economic Council to deepen economic relations and bilateral trade; negotiated the purchase of VALCO by the Ghana government at a cost of $20m; implemented the first Investment Forum in the US to showcase the economic potential of each of the 10 regions of Ghana; established the first web-based Ghana Skills Bank to facilitate access to Ghanaian professionals and experts worldwide; initiated the Ghana Cultural Centre in the US; developed an “Operation Save Your Schools Programme” for Ghana residents in the US to assist their alma mater (primary/middle school) back home; negotiated Cosmos Energy's arrival in Ghana to discover oil; and negotiated the release of $547m from the US government through the Millennium Challenge Accounts (MCA) to alleviate poverty in Ghana. The 14km George Walker Bush road is a living testimony.

Alan is an achiever, for as a Minister of Trade, Industry, & PSI, he built $8.5 million state-of-the-art factory to produce high grade industrial starch from cassava for export. The Ayensu Starch factory has been bought by the Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) this year to produce beer for consumption. Alan constructed an enclave within the Tema Free Zone, for the manufacturing of garments for export. He revived the Oil Palm industry in Ghana; expanded the Salt mining operations; implemented the District Industrialization Programme, where at least, one medium-sized factory in each administrative district would be built; initiated the highly successful “National Friday Wear” programme, implemented the Distance Education programme to enable Ghanaian workers acquire higher degrees. Alan facilitated the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), which offers Ghana, a quota free export of certain category of goods to the US market; and negotiated a $45 million loan facility with the World Bank to promote SME development in Ghana.

Alan has categorized his vision into two, one for the NPP and the second for Ghana. He believes that, for a party to win political power and maintain it, it needs to be strategically strong. Alan intends to restructure the NPP by empowering all those who would work for the party. He would mobilize the over 5m supporters to make a monthly financial contribution of at least, GHC1.00. This money would be deposited in a Progress or Savings Bank which would be established in the Constituencies. Part of the deposits would be invested in viable economic ventures, part as loans etc. The interests and profits accrued to such investments would be used to pay those party executives. This innovation will be fashioned around the mode of financial institutions with regard to their money creation. Alan Kyerematen's vision for the country will be to harness and develop the potential of her youth force by putting education and entrepreneurial skills at the center of his youth policy. Alan intends to add value to our agricultural products in order to put the country on the path of economic independence. His campaign message is coined; "Jobs for the people, Cash for the people".

Alan's personality traits - humility, charisma, gentility, honesty, etc could attract floating votes. His credibility, and competence make him a better candidate than Mahama. Alan can maximise votes from both Central and Ashanti Regions because of his mixed ancestry. Alan has more international connections and better understanding of the economy than Mahama. He is fit, strong, and healthy. He will campaign 24/7 to beat John Mahama.

It is my hope that the NPP delegates would consider Alan Kyerematen this time around, for he has what it takes to move our beloved party from 8 years in opposition into government in 2016.

In fact, I do not have much time to remember you of all the activities of this man in the past and in the present to tell you how desperate he is to have his childhood dream of ruling Ghana come true. For instance, he went to the WAILING WALL IN ISRAEL TO WAIL TO THE WALL TO HELP HIM BECOME PRESIDENT. From there he started to BOARD TROTRO, THE MEANS OF TRANSPORT OF THE COMMON MAN, JUST TO DEMONSTRATE THAT HE AKUFO-ADDO IDENTIFIES WITH THE COMMON PEOPLE.For the same reason, he also WINED AND DINED WITH SOME COMMON PEOPLE.Again, in the recent Akufo-Addo News, he HIRED SOME WOMEN TO CARRY SOME CEMENT BLOCKS ON THEIR HEAD TO SUGGEST THAT, ''AKUFO-ADDO, HERE IS YOUR STONE, YOU TOLD US AND WE DIDN'T LISTEN''. Further more, in the just ended registration excercise, he took it upon himself to visit some registration centres to observe the progress of the registration. None of his other contestants for the flag-bearership race did the same.

Is Akufo-Addo doing all these to win political power because he is a visionary who can liberate us from our present predicament? Fellow Ghanaians, carefully watch the scene and you would realized that he had systematically taken over the party(NPP)and has somehow robbed the party of the beauty of contesting for the election of the flag-bearer. It is obvious and abundantly clear that the election for the flag-bearer is going to be a MERE FORMALITY.

We all loved Prof Mills and rooted for him to become our president. But years of repeated campaigning to become the president weakened him and as a result could not end his term as a president of Ghana. Whether Ghanaians are in a hurry to follow this 'yappy yappy' talk to elect someone who is older than Prof Mills as the President of Ghana time would tell.

First and foremost Nana Addo says he has learnt lesson from the SC ruling. Whatever it was no one knows but certainly every child in Ghana knows the NPP held this country to ransom for 8 months and crippled the economy as we see it today.
In the process and during the period the monies looted from 2001 to 2008 were repatriated from the country until economic activity slowed down and the country became cash strapped.
How can this kidnapper per se, he learnt lesson when he declared he did not agree wirh the verdict and claims he is a lawyer.
How can the NPP say they are democratic when they claim all present have already endorsed him. When no elections have been held yet and ballots need to be secret any ways. It makes nonesense of any democratic process with respect to the other numerous candidates. Hence, an already a feature of DIVISION, DIVISIVENESS in the making so there will not be unity in this faux party.

Akufo Addo promises Ghanaians first class government? This man is a joke! Where is his first class economics degree? Where is his first class law certificate he could show to Ghanaians. And what first class leadership and performance did he provide as Attorney General but only to be removed? What first class achievement did he provide as Foreign Minister when diplomatic passports got missing?

Now, Akufo Addo is telling Ghanaians that even at the age of 72, his doctor/s believe he is as strong as bukom banku and can run as fast as Usain Bolt. And the most childish and laugherable of all to keep comparing himself with other Aged African leaders? Someone who lived most of his youth and adult life still lives in stone age mentality.

Akufo Addo is a swindler just as he did with his law certificate, his bogus petition which allowed him to be spared by his party's supporters. At this old age Akufo Addo has not got anything new to offer Ghanaians. He also lacks good wisdom that comes with old age as his entire life was built on truancy, radicalism, boasting and the like.

Nana should retire from active politics and concentrate on writing his memoir, spending quality time with grandchildren instead of deceiving himself that he can become President in order to rehabilitate himself and late father.

Ghana needs a goed leader who can think and act out the boxes. Ghana needs a visionary leader, who can inspire, capable of listening to the agony of the majority and knows what prevails in the society.

Those who have invented or discoverd anything useful to mankind are either young people or people without exprience. The governing body of NPP and NDC have perch long on the seat of the government and they are not receptive to new ideas.

Thank you my brother. I think we need a third force in our current political dispensation so we can dismantle NDC and NPP because these two major parties have nothing good for the country. They create useless tension in the country during general elections. But when voted into power, they do nothing to transform the economy. Twenty-two years of multiparty democracy, we still rely heavily on cocoa and gold as the main source of foreign exchange. I once heard the former trade minister, Haruna Iddrisu say the country spends about one billion US dollars annually to import rice and poultry products. What a shame. We have the volta river stretching from north to south. Yet we cannot farm to feed ourselves. NPP was in power for eight solid years but could not change the structure of the economy. NDC was in opposition and back in power, but just look at mess we are in now. So for me Nana Addo has nothing new to offer. I voted in 2012 for president Mahama but it appears his is too gentle for the job and therefore unable to deal sternly with the hawks whose only objective is to get power to amass wealth. I wish to use this medium to call on prof Frimpong Boateng to form a party so we can rally behind him because I know he has what it takes to govern this country. God bless my homeland Ghana.

The current National Council of NPP must force or prevail on Kwabena Agyapong to totally cancel his "one man-show" appointments of the NPP Communication members until after the presidential candidate of NPP is elected or acclaim so that the appointments shall be made in collaboration with the eventual winner of the presidential primary, as it is the presidential candidate who may be in best position to know the genuine persons who will vigorously and enthusiastically "sell" his plan and policies for the nation to the electorates or the voters.
