We shall never move forward until the undeclared war against the Akans, discrimination of the majority and anti Akan propaganda hate agenda is resolved. One must fight fire with fire , war with war not kisses or playing ignorant to the reality . the northerners , ewes , Muslims and other traitors of the Akan interest are systematically destroying the future of the Akans . There is no democracy or govt of the people and by the people but the slow establishment of the caliphate of pepeni murderers using a system of corrupt govt that makes irrelevant all institutions of state in the form of a Saudi style monarchy of mahama and his brothers . Despite our huge potential and the fact that any true patriotic nationalist govt can definitely turn the economy around in less than 6 months , we are bogged down in this situation of undeclared war of the ayigbe and pepeni mafia who have hijacked all institutes of state . only a bloody revolution will set us free . everything we have predicted over the past few years has come to pass and there is more evil to come until we stand up accept that we are at war and must fight back. Even Obama now realizes this caliphate is a serious threat to mankind's peace and unity . All religions are from God but over time the devil ensures the good is interpreted by the wicked and used to cause harm , the righteous know religion is meant to ensure unity and goodwill amongst men not pain and suffering or discrimination. On one hand we have the mafia ndc killing our people's future and around the corner nana chooses as his closest allies northerners who will continue the agenda of hate , wait for the clarion call for freedom and spare none of these criminals in the political oligarchy of corruption and evil . Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one
by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

By the way, the problems in Ghana are self made, and so were the problems in the US that started with Bush's last years, however, the US have dug themselves out of the recession and corrected many of the bad policies. It is not a global problem, the PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain) are suffering because of their socialization interventions which eventually will cripple any country. There is absolutely nothing wrong with privatization state organizations that are unproductive. As a capitalist I see a lot of sense in that -- compare the old P&T to what we have now and you will understand what I am saying, I wish Mahama would have the guts to do more of those -- perhaps privatize electricity production and follow it up with water.

All of a sudden, the whole issue of governance is being pushed into ethnic dimensions and Akans are being seen as being hounded. This is definitely not the issue. There are some persons who don't understand why a northerner should be a president. This was shown during the Kuffour era when a sitting veep, who from all indications had done quite well had sixteen other persons in the NPP contesting him. Ethnocentrism is a very dangerous phenomenon and if Ghanaians do not nip it in the bud, I tell you, not a soul will be left. In the face of our challenges, the last thing we should allow to take us over is ethnocentrism. Ghana is the peaceful country that we have because of our cross ethnic marriages. I am an ewe and my wife is an Akan. In fact the mother of my wife is a northerner and the father is from Koforidua. In the event there should be a war between any two of these ethnic groups, which side should my children be. Remember what happened to Mahama Ayariga when two tribes of which his parents belonged to went to war? He was seen by either side as a traitor because he was not fighting on their side. Thankfully it was he, with other persons who ultimately brought about peace in the Bawku area. For such faceless entities like this insight the bone, the least attention paid to their stupid rankings, the better we will move forward as a nation. In fact ghana does not need such goats and we pray the good Lord sweeps them off the face of the earth

I know for a fact that Akans would vote for who ever appears to be the better candidate. That is why I believe that if Nana Addo is successful both in wining the election and in ruling, Bawumia stands a better chance to be the flag bearer of NPP

Today Mahama will say we are in crisis and the Finance Minister will say the economy just have challenges. The next day it will be the Finance Minister saying the economy is in crisis whilst Mahama will be talking about the economy having challenges.

An Economy that use 58 percent of its revenues to pay workers alone is in crisis.

An Economy that has to pay 4.7billion dollars yearly interest on its debt of $25 billion is in crisis.

An economy that inherited a growth rate of 8.8 percent without oil money but is now growing at 6 percent with oil money is in crisis.

An economy that just a year ago has an inflation rate of 9 percent but has gone up to 15.3 percent is in crisis.

An Economy with the worst currency depreciation for year, 40 percent is in crisis.

The government cannot even meet its basic responsibilities of paying workers let alone embark on developmental projects without a LALASULALA cup begging for arms is definitely in crisis, CORNEY.

Don't pretend that this is the first time the country is asking for money from IMF. All governments did it including the NPP government which came to power in 2000.Economics 101 will help to explain that when demand is higher than supply, prices go up. So it is with the currency.The counrty imports more than exports which creates a trade balance deficit that affects the reserves of the country. Previous governments including the NPP failed to steer the country's economy to a manufacturing base economy: the more you consume and produce less triggers inflation.
True, the country is producing oil now, but what percentage is the country's share of the oil revenue? Tullow and it partners including Ana Darko have more of the revenue that what Ghana gets. These were the negotiations and contracts set by the NPP government before it lost the election. Can the NDC government set aside these contracts? The answer is no. Setting these contracts aside would have resulted into huge Judgement debts. There is no time for me to expand this write up just to help you with basic economics. Ghanaians should be appalled with the current crises; the foundation of which are bad policies by previous governments, which have trigged the unintended consequences simmering and seeping through the policy cracks. This is a national emergency which deserves a hundred percent involvement of all Ghanaians on deck for solution, and not cheap politiking. The need to channel our energies and minds to solve the crises is paramount to all Ghanaians and need solicitation from all right minded Ghanaians.
Corruption has been a canker in the country after Nkrumah was toppled but only came to the open recently. Our civil and public servants have always looted and shared the nation's wealth to the detriment of the unfortunate poor and the untutored Ghanaian. Many of our politicians are basking in these loots, claiming that, they have the solutions to the country's current crises-they have no magic wand to solving the problems. Until all Ghanaian, move from the concepts of entitlements, dependency, tribal politics and ethnocentrism to productivity, creative and loving our neighbors as ourselves we will never find solutions to the crises. On corruption again we neeed curtailment and prevention solution. We need to have policies to preempt corruption in the varoius institutions to stop it from taking place. Now I pose this question: What can we do to solve the economic crises of the country without politiking?

Stop your blind Nkrumah worship because the corruption foundation in Ghana was laid by Nkrumah Cpp government. Nkrumah unilaterally gave tens of millions of pounds toGuinea, Mali and others.

Gbedemah, the finance Minister was forced into exile after being accused of stealing ten million pounds.

Krobo Edusei with minimal education was so corrupt he bought a golden bed for his wife.

Nkrumah Ministers and DCE's were so corrupt it was as if corruption was legal.

Nkrumah in just six years after becoming President took us to IMF after bankcrupting the country. Please spare us this Nkrumah nonsense because if you are building a house and you lay a wrong foundation, your house will eventually collapse.

I don't really have patience for yahoos like you who are blinded by politics of stupidith. How can you even imply that corruption in our body politics started after the 1966 coup and expect any intelligent person to have an intelligent discourse with you? You have a subjective mind that does not allow you to have any meaningful debate.

Our economic problems now is not because we are importing more than exporting because that has been going on since independence. Yes, Ghana balance of trade will be better if we can export more than we import but our present economic crisis is due to these;

Our national debt have gone from 8 billion to 25 billion dollars with high interest payment of 4.7 billion dollars consuming 25 percent of the national budget.

Second, the implementation of the SSSS policy has increased government workers wage bill from 1.9 billion dollars in 2009 to 5.2 billion in 2013 .

Third because of the high wage payments, government has printed more than 8 billion cedis into the system without the support of production or foreign exchange reserve therefore depreciating the value of the cedi especially against the USA dollar.

The government in its haste to stop the flight of foreign currency from the system adopted a policy that rather made people not to bring any foreign currency to Ghana and those who have foreign currency accounts to send their money from the system before the policy wasiimplemented.

Thank God the government has seen its folly and has rescinded this policy.

You have basic economic understanding and not the expertise to participate fully in diagnosing what is ailing our economy.You are just a greenhorn on this issue.

There has been a free fall of the cedi since 2008, culminating in millions of dollars been pumped into bailing the cedi since 2008. Why are you still in Ghana living good if the country is in crisis?

Ghana's problem has nothing to do with economic management. Ghana, like other countries such as USA and some European countries were going through recession by 2012 when President Mills took over. He tried to fix things but death did not allow him to finish his work. The country went through elections at a critical time when the recession was at a high point. Unfortunately, the NPP held the country hostage for 8 months with their frivolous SC petition. Even though they knew they did not win the 2012 elections, they still went to court because they knew, holding the country hostage would finally kill the little life left in the economy.

Soon after the SC verdict, the NPP started instigating the GMA, Universities, and workers groups to go on strikes with demands for higher pay etc. The government had no choice than to give in to their demands by depleting the little that was left in the coffers.

The NPP promised that, losing the SC case would not be the end of the story and that they would make the country ungovernable. True to their words, they have made the country ungovernable.

We are here today because of the wicked and unpatriotic actions of the Mate meho party known as the NPP; the only party in Ghana that keep changing it's names in order to hide from their wicked and bad deeds.

Furthermore, when challenged in court to call their polling agents as witnesses, they fought tooth and nail to have Respondents request rejected. That goes to suggest that NPP is a party full of comedians.

And i hear Akufo Addo promising a first class government when all he could achieve was a third class in economics. Again, when his leadership and expertise in legal matters was most needed during his bogus petition hearing where was he? He went into hidding and finally announced he was going for a medical check up in London during court proceedings. And this unhealthy man at 72 by election time want Ghanaians to believe him that he can carry and solve their problems.? This is a big joke and sham.

Until recently, we rely heavily on two primary commodities, cocoa and gold as source of foreign exchange earnings. We now have oil but the economy is still bad. I think Ghanaians lack the capacity to manage whatever belongs to the state. Just critically observe how state organization are badly managed. So our problem is attitudinal, we cannot just manage our beloved country. You guys get power and all you think about is how you and your cronies will get contracts and milk the state. As a technocrat, I sit back and sometimes ask why Ghanaian have allowed this NDC/NPP nonsense to exist in our body politics. I have a lot of concerns to post, but let me pause here because it seems politicians are the same and have nothing good for this country. Is it not shameful that we use our scare foreign exchange earnings to import rice and frozen chicken in the country? Even we cannot produce tomatoes and watermelon, but rather choose to import them from Burkina Faso, yet we have national assets like Dr. Baumiah in town. In fact my bleeds for this country.

I am not an economist but what I found out in today’s 21st Century is NO COUNTRY CAN AFFORD TO STAY IDLE WATCHING TV FOR 8 OR 9 AND EXPECT A SOUNDING ECONOMIC INDICES. No it can’t happen just like that. Ghana is harvesting what the arrogant NPP people have seeded a year and half ago.
