Insults because these statements of already known problems don't solve problems. I'm sometimes struck to hear well acclaimed learned people making solution statements to problems by just re-stating the problem. This reverend's attempt to analyse YES Fund as waste of $3m is even better than Otabil telling us Ghana is sinking because of cedi depreciation, who don't know Ghana's current state of affairs?

My point is we know things are bad but how can we make it better? If Otabil collects monies from the poor to build university for the rich at higher profits without paying taxes for saying its 'charity' how would he expect his own poor churchy members be rich? For claiming Central University is charity is insult and deceptive for a christian organisation to embark on. Does Otabil even care to account to members how much incomes are collected from them for 25yrs and what the expenditures are and current balance sheet of this multi-million dollar business he call church? If you are not paying taxes do you expect 'miracles' to create environment for businesses to thrive?

the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

These Reverends are scared to confront their Congregations who might choose to abandon the Churches rather than have their vices rubbed in their faces at Church.

But that is the challenge of the Religions. It is the ability of the Religious leaders to persuade their Congregations to do as their doctrines teach that really show how relevant and important the Reverends and their Organizations are to our Society.

If the universal principle of all believers to Worship God and not Money were to hold among the Congregations, we would not have so much descent into corruption that is destroying our Nation.

The only meaningful way Religion could work with Politics in any Democratic Country is for the members of that Religion apply the constructive elements of their beliefs at work. In our System where we intend to see Separation of Churches and Politics because of the wide variety of nuances of the different Religions, one thing that is uniform to all Religions that does not undermine or interfere with Politics is for the Members of all the Religions to demonstrate exceptional morality and perform with integrity.

In the Christian doctrine where it is said by the Christ that we "give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars, and unto God what is God's", the delineation of Church and Politics is clearly defined. That means if we claim to be part of Christendom, we are bound to obey the Laws of our Constitution even as we worship the Lord as the source of our Faith. As we obey and enforce our Laws diligently without favor or discrimination, for example, we would be obeying the Laws as proscribed by Politics (representing 'Ceasar') and be giving to the Lord (God) his due by being fair to all and the intent of the Law.

Many of our Laws were formulated upon moral Principles echoed in our Religious backgrounds, especially Christianity. So, often when we break the Law deliberately, or knowingly, we would flouting our Religious obligations as well. It is this confluence of Religion and Politics that I wish our Reverends were exploiting most of to promote their Faith, instead of choosing to become experts in only a selected few elements of Governance that intimately touches their own personal bottom-line.

If only these Bishops could 'tame' their congregations to keep their moral principles, we would see less and less of the chaos in our Economic management, given that their congregations include the core of our Officials in charge of that sector.

Let's face it. It is ironic that these Reverends act to indicate we need them and their Churches more when we are in Economic hardships but then they fail to acknowledge that it is the failure of their congregations to practice what they learn at the Churches that is killing our Economy.

When the CEP Officials at the Ports, Officials at GYEEDA and SADA, Attorneys-General in cahoot with Woyomegates, and those milking our Sports Funding, among many corrupt Agencies, keep stealing from our State Coffers without any Law Enforcement checks, the Nation is bound to rot. Yet, almost all these corrupt folks belong to one Church or another and to the Muslim Faith.

So, give us a break. You are only shouting about the symptoms and ignoring the fundamental cause of the mess which your Organization and its affiliates are responsible for. Let us just say that the Churches have failed to sustain the moral strenth of the Country.

If these Reverends have any suggestions to give, they should start with challenging their congregations to perform to reflect their Faith at their jobs. And more than half of our mess would simply disappear.
