Even die-hard NDC activists, aware of the wanton destruction of the state, are increasingly fearful of a worse-case scenario. Everything around us is all gloom and doom. What do you expect from people like the one you are responding to?

If, as is obvious, you are enjoying some of the NDC acquired booty there in Ankaful hospital, it will be in your own interest to keep mute about it instead of making it seem so obvious that it is only your self-interest that you are fighting for.

The combined population of these areas are more than the entire Northern regions of this country and they dont enjoy free education. Neither are they beneficiaries of many other benefits which are accorded the Northern regions.

In spite of all these privileges that has been going on for several decades, starting from Nkrumahs time, Northerners largely continue to resist civilization and development.

If Northerners themselves had any sympathy with the admittedly dreadful conditions in the north, why is it that all educated Northerners have ensconced themselves in Accra and refuse even to go on occasional transfer to their regions? Why?

All right-thinking Ghanaians recognize the need to bring Northerners up to date. But people like Mahama and Chambas are making it seem that you people still havent 'arrived'. It will therefore be difficult to sympathize with that national obligation to single out the north for special development.

In any case, it is not Rawlings you people should be grateful to. You should give praises, thanks and blessings a million times to Kwame Nkrumah for establishing many schools, state companies, factories and enlightenment to the North.

The electricity which you say Rawlings provided, was actually created by Nkrumah. Providing it to some specific areas is a secondary matter. Even some large areas in Accra dont as yet have electricity so you should count your blessings and give praise to Kwame Nkrumah who was the one who created the initiatives to pamper the northern areas of Ghana into development.

As for Ibn Chambas attempting to be President, he himself knows very well that he dare not try. The baggage he is carrying is too heavy. As the saying goes, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all the people all of the time.

"The heritage of accomplishment" we witnessed was dubious judgment debt with unrestrained and monstrous thievery, which emboldened the trained operatives to blast the lid of the national purse, and wrecking havoc to it within just 2 months to the tune of over $5billion dollars, even while the country was sinking into the abyss, finally culminating in the state we find ourselves, a catastrophically retrogressed, stagnant, collapsed economy with a Mahama NDC gov't team with no credibility and confidence whatsoever, domestically and internationally. Clearly Ghana needs a new direction, purpose and hope from the "heritage of accomplishment" staring at us intractably in our faces, by massively sending the Mahama NDC gov't packing at the ballot box in 2016.
