Whenever any well-meaning person tells the true picture of the country, you people will come out to attack. This has not stopped people from criticizing you. Until you learn to do the right things right, well-meaning Ghanaians will continue to talk. What NDC wants is to be told the untruth because the very foundation of your party is falsehood. Your ugly noises will not stop Pastor Otabil from speaking his mind. Between NDC apologists and Pastor Otabil, I will choose the latter over and over again!

I have observed an alarming trend in Ghana these days for some religious leaders to make critical comments in the media, at times attacking the gov't of the day. I would have preferred that these men of God learn from Pope Francis the way to comment on issues of national concern without sounding partisan.

We all know the role some of these so-called men of God play in our society and when they show their faces in the public square and echo some of the partisan attacks of some in our society, they must be ready when others on the opposite side return fire.

We are all aware and we all “dey inside”. We live and die together". I would like to know how different it is from a sinking economy.What is the state of economy today? What does it mean by living and dying together, and 'deying inside'? Obviously the people of Ghana are wading through the economic struggles but not government officials. We need to find solutions to the current economic problems and not attack people who are saying what everyone already know. Numbers do not lie. Paying tithes is a voluntary affair. Meanwhile the taxes Ghanaians pay are siphoned by Mahama and his crooks with no benefit for most Ghanaians.

Do you remember not too long ago when he called us clowns and jokesters?

At that time his target was not the ruling NDC government but the general populace. Right?
Why didn't you come up with your article then, to let Ghanaians know that Mensa-Otabil was deceptive and shouldn't be taken seriously?

You kept mum because the government was not in the cross hairs of his criticism.

So I question the timing and intent of your article because I believe it's an extension of the "YENTIE OBIAA" mantra of the NDC government which in essence, is your way of silencing any critic of the government.

He took the government to task on how things are not faring well in the country and all of a sudden, the voice that had kept mum throughout his criticism of the general populace is screaming to warn us of Otabil's deceptive tendencies.

You NDC political bigots and goons take the average Ghanaian for a fool who can't figure out that the MAHAMA government has no sense of direction until somebody of substance adds his voice and then it's a full blownout war on this somebody.
Badmouthing Mensa-Otabil because he said the truth about the state of the affairs of the country wouldn't resolve the issues and make things better.
This shows exactly the lack of leadership he was talking about. Intimidation and scare tactics have no place in a democratic governance of a country.

You talk about God watching what Otabil is doing.
You think God is not watching the harm and hardships this useless leadership has taking Ghana and Ghanaians through? You were right in saying that God is watching every move of ours. He is definitely watching yours and He will judge if this piece that you wrote was in defence of a country definitely in need of a miracle or you wrote it to descredit someone who stood up to a corrupt and cluesless political machinery.
