RAWLINGS WHEN HE CAME TO POWER SEIZED THIS COMPANY FROM THE OWNER WHO WAS A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN. JUST AS HE DID TO SIAW OF TATA BREWERY BY SEIZING ALL HIS NUMEROUS BUSINESSES. LATER, SUBIN TIMBERS WAS DIVESTED AND A NEW OWNER WVLC TOOK OVER ALL THE ASSETS OF SUBIN TIMBERS. THROUGH ALL THIS, THE FIRST OWNER OF SUBIN TIMBERS DIED. WHEN NPP TOOK OVER POWER IN 2001, THE CHILDREN OF THE FIRST OWNER OF SUBIN TIMBERS (INCLUDING PASTOR ADABO) PETITIONED THE NPP GOVT. IT TOOK SEVERAL YEARS WITH THE HELP OF SEVERAL LAWYERS WHO ASSISTED THE CHILDREN OF THE FIRST OWNER OF SUBIN TIMBERS TO GET BACK THEIR FATHER'S COMPANY..SUBIN TIMBERS. THIS REPORTER IS MAKING IT LOOK LIKE PASTOR ADABO IS A CROOK AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY INTEREST IN SUBIN TIMBERS....REMEMBER THE BIBLE QUOTATION...A GOOD MAN LEAVES INHERITANCE FOR HIS CHILDRENS CHILDREN. Until today govt has not paid all the WVLC laid off workers upon all the billion cedis paid in doubious judgement debts.My 2 brothers worked for WVLC when it was a state owned enterprise.The Npp govt was quick to hand over the company to such ghost owners without paying workers who were laid off up till today, why? Go to Sekondi/Takoradi and find out for yourselves how many workers were laid off without pesewa.I have my 2 brothers still alive and can come to testify.Please Mr Commissioner kindly look into the paid off package for the WVLC workers too.Thank you.

In the first place, when I made the list, I ended it with etc etc. This means that what I have mentioned is not exhaustive and that readers are invited to add on whatever I did not put there.

Secondly, my point revolves around relevance vs. usage of national resources. Kuffour may have stolen every pesewa in Ghana's coffers but that is irrelevant here.

State resources have been placed at the disposal of the commission for a well-defined purpose...to investigate payment of judgement debts and help the state to recover dubious ones back into the nation's till.

What has that got to do with Kuffour and a hotel purchase by his son? Did that transaction involve the payment of any judgement debt to Kuffour?

The commission should apply the resources judiciously by focusing on the intended purpose for the benefit of the nation that appointed it.
