He promised to clear the shift educational system in Accra Metropolis, which he accomplished. Ghana’s democracy must be built through open societies that share information. When there is information, there is enlightenment. When there is debate, there are solutions. When there is no assemble of the people’s representatives, no rule of law, no accountability, there is abuse, corruption, subjugation and indignation.
If Mr. Rawlings (one of such fathers) knows of any minister in this gov’t who is corrupt, he must come out boldly to share this information with the whole nation instead of always speaking in parables in public just bicos his too¬¬-ambitious and greedy wife was not approved to lead the NDC. It is a pity that the once respected Rawlingses sometimes choose to descend that low in public. They have had their time. they’ve had 19 years of Military and civilian dictatorship that ended with six of his ministers jailed for various acts of corruption. Mr. Victor Kwashie Salormey, his deputy Finance Minister died in prison custody during his incarceration. Their National Democratic Party (NDP) is “dead” according to Heritage newspaper front page report, dated 15/08/14.
Corruption is the enemy of development, and of good governance. It must be got rid of. Both the government and the people at large must come together to achieve this national objective. The fight for justice against corruption is never easy. It never has been and never will be. It exacts a toll on our self, our families, our friends, and especially our children. In the end, I believe, as in my case, the price we pay is well worth holding on to our dignity.
But those who fight corruption should be clean themselves. It is clear from the look of things that, our previous govt was so out of control. It was so bloated and infested with fraud and deceit and corruption and abuse of power but we never heard of civil or society or our fathers complained till Professor John Mills was voted into power.
President John Dramani Mahama has been very diplomatic and idealistic so far and at the same time is doing his best under these trying times of economic challenges that has affected worldwide. Ghana is no exception. There is no compromise when it comes to corruption. You have to fight it.

So being the parasite and an opportunist she stayed with NDC. She thought she could capitalize on the name to take control of her husbands party but the ungrateful members had other plans. So she languished outside the limelight and watched Mills and then Mahama get elected. Like awoman scorned, she bitter and out for blood. She cannot join her natural party because it is too crowded at the top and she couldn't get elected as the dog catcher in the party. So like a rotten child. She forms her own party hoping the NDC will beg her to join them so she can dictate her terms. She forgets that her time has come and gone. She like a used condom and will only be picked if the man is really desperate for second round but cannot find his wallet or a new one. If she was decent, she'll stay away from politics and behave like most first ladies. But she's ashanti and they don't do decent. If she was from my people, the fantes, she'll be frying bofrot, making rich gravies that will clog your heart and baking rich cakes for ambassadors and professors.
