When that short man afflicted with Napoleonic complex went barking for death and violence "all-die-be-die" and bleating ethnic mobilisation "yen akanfuo", no-one had attacked him or his NPP-house! Those irresponsible utterances he made were not a reaction to any physical attacks of NPP supporters or threats of violence against them! They were, rather, pro-active measures of violence and intimidation that he and his party were employing to win the elections! The use of violence and intimidation as instruments of political campaign and winning of elections has no place in our democratic political practices! And, rightly, he got served that lesson very soundly when he lost the elections!

What he didn't realise then -- and I don't know if he's done so yet -- is that he has a right to aspire to the presidency of the country: but he's not ENTITLED to it!

When an armed robber breaks into your house and threatens to fuck your wife and kill the two of you later on, if you allow him to fuck your wife, he will kill you. If you try to prevent him from fucking your wife, he will kill you all the same. Do you not think that if you try to stop him from fucking your wife, you have a better chance of defeating him, however slim, rather than cower under the bed and listen to him fucking your wife? As a child growing up in the hands of irresponsible parents, all that he saw and learnt from his parents are fighting authority by conniving with enemies of the state to plot schemes to destabilise authority. They succeeded in overthrowing Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s government promising to deliver better policies than Nkrumah and make Ghana the Heaven in the black continent.

What did they do with the power

The destroyed what they can destroy, abandoned, sold and looted from everywhere to enrich their families. And cause all foreigners who are in the country to do business to flee. This is the retaliation meted out to Ghanaians in the 1980’s by Nigerians that has earned us a worldwide a name of a rubbish product “Ghana Must Go” bag. This confirms the adage that the evil that men do lives after them.
They make monies from these activities to fend their family and household other than that what can Nana Addo boast of as the sources of his family wealth .
The gullible party whose existence hinges on the fringes of neo-colonialism. They don’t learn than always going into the gutters. What kind of education do they give to the public other than encouraging their followers to insult authority in the name “free speech”
They cannot use decent words when expressing themselves in public . When they lack ideas or have no alternative suggestion to make; they only result to ganging up people to unilaterally disregard what is at stake by spewing garbage of insult to disregard authority.

They waste their energies on speculating what bad thing will hit the country or create one to cause disaffection among the people. Do you call these elements thinkers? They have never offered or participated in any productive discussion, neither have they offered at least one solution nor alternative to what confronts us as a country. What they bent on doing is conniving with their foreign agents to hunt a way of derailing our path to economic emancipation.

We need to develop as a nation and this calls for individual change of mind-sets in regard to what everyone can do to improve upon themselves to benefit

It's because Ghanaians are friendly people that's why they don't give a damn about Nana Addo. Nana Addo will not take microphone to tell his people beat others. No one saw Hitler shooting someone with his gun yet the world accused him of genocide of the Jews. His men beat current NPP Chairman in Legon Congress in 2007 for no reason and Nana Addo didn't feel sorry for his party member. He preached All-Die-Be-Die and still continue to defend it. Nana Addo underground mastermind lots of mishaps in Ghana but holding the country to ransom for 8 months. Dr Arthur Kennedy was even so soft because he doesn't want to taint his party. So Kwaku Baako should shut with his unpatriotic journalism.

If they will fight and defend the sovereignty of our nation which I know they will, will that make them a violent bunch and how is that different from Nana Akuffo Addo's "All Die Be Die" exhortation? Nana Akuffo is a realist , the greatest politician of our time and it's no wonder he is the target of numerous attacks from within his own party and without. Koforidua, Dec. 25, 2008 GNA, ghanaweb. The Eastern Regional Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to stop his supporters and people around him from the use of violence, intimidation and harassment of political opponents.

Speaking at a press conference in Koforidua, the Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Julius Debrah said currently in the Abuakwa South Constituency and in Kyebi in particular, supporters of the NDC were constantly being harassed and provoked for no apparent reasons. He said in some cases traditional authorities had begun threatening parents and family heads to pressurize their family members who were NDC activists to stop their house-to-house campaigns in the constituency. Mr Debrah called on the people of the Eastern Region to reject the shameful attempts being made by the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo to buy their votes and to vote massively against the party and its presidential candidate.

Mr Tawiah Boateng, Regional Organizer of the party, said due to harassment, it was becoming difficult for members of the NDC in the Abuakwa South constituency and the Kyebi area in particular to hold normal meetings since they were being followed and even people, who gave their premises to be used for meetings were being threatened.

He said NDC miniature flags displayed and posters of the party at Kyebi were often destroyed or removed apparently because they think Nana Akufo-Addo hails from the area so no political party should campaign there.

Mr Boateng said the threats and harassment of NDC activists had been extended to other Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Areas and all of a sudden party agents of the party were refusing to protect the interest of the party on the polling day because of threats made against them. He, therefore, appealed to the Regional Security Election Taskforce to take the necessary measures to protect NDC functionaries at Kyebi and to ensure that all political parties were given a level playing field to market their candidate to enable Ghanaians to make their decision from a well-informed position on December 28.

It serves him Kennedy no useful purpose and I assure him that all his efforts will be in vain; and when in 2017 Nana is sworn in as President of the Republic of Ghana, it will be too late for him to be part of NPP fraternity.
