How can a family fury turn into a Kusasi Mamprusi fight?? The security agency should get to the core of this case and stop blaming the innocent peaceful Kusasi people!! The question is, Why will a Kusasi get up and take a gun and go and fight? For what! A Kusasi are not looking for chieftaincy, the chief is a Kusasi, they have their land and are doing well in peace. Why will they just get up and go and attack a Mamprusi? What will be their motivation? Nothing! For a matter of fact, what do they need or want from a Mamprusi that will make them want to get up without any provocatio go and fight them? These are the questions the law enforcement has to ask the liars who go around trying to let the peace loving kusasi people look bad. The only time a kusasi will attack any one is when they are being attacked.
What the mamprusis should know is that the Kusasi of today are not the Kusasis their grand fathers they terrorized and killed like fowls. You are facing a different kind of Kusasi today. So the wise thing is to let everyone stay in peace. no kusasi people will be ruled by a minority different tribe from a different region. never!

These wars are fueled by some of the politicians because at the end the budget for upkeep of the police personnel and the military goes to the various commanders and even the regional ministers and the dces.

The true story is that two brothers from the Binmoba family were fighting each other. Then the Mamprusi people who want to be chief of Bawku at all cost STARTED SHOOTING IN BAWKU MARKET causing panic and confusions and the same thugs went to the police station to report that kusasis are shooting at them. Why all this troubles. Please mamprusis of bawku, Kusasis today are not the Kusasis that sat down and were killed uselessly by you mamprusis, never will that happen again. Kusasis will defend themslves.
No kusasi will be ruled by a minority from a different tribe and from a different region; never! This is not the 18th century, so let peace reign. no chieftiency will never change hands!

May I ask if there are still any well-meaning and God-fearing people from the north at all? And are they serious, loving and development-oriented people at all. So, when are we ready to stop injuring, harming and killing fellow brothers and sisters? What are our Politicians saying and doing? The problem with the north might not end at all, sure. Fellow decent Ghanaians, help me echo this simple but positive solution for the good of Mother Ghana and the north.... I entreat a forum to be held at which Northern politicians, chiefs, scholars, businessmen, youth and friends and other Ghanaians meet and without the usual wine, drink and bed fanfare seriously review and come up with honest and practical solutions to free the hot spots of their petty and challenging issues where we have the untold age-old antagonistic clashes bordering on land, chieftaincy, religion and even social and political differences results in the sad but avoidable periodic anti- developmental and negative rituals fast becoming a notorious tag of our part of the world. this forum ,i suggest should be devoid of any political, tribal, class and business intents and undertones to jointly eradicate this devilish incidences within our midst. Even though we can't come together as a northern front to plan and put on the table any profitable agenda to raise the standard and dignity of our people,we can eradicate this bad conducts and actions.Let it be SHAME for us all but until that is achieved, let's not be proud as Northerners. Look at KAYOYo among our youth in the cities. Its easier wear any pride than to hide from shame..Hooooooooo- a big hoot to us all! For a fact, like the rest of Ghana, we are all blessed, we should not exchange that bliss with these cureses. Let's rise up and work against the ills in sincerity. We are looking up to our proud Politicians. You make fine suggestions, bring out fine party and national programmes and ideas but deny same to your region . Such would enhance the total peace for Ghana as a country. God Bless Ghana and let's not the north be without that blessing. Is it the case of EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES AND GOD FOR US ALLLLLL?

A lot happened lately-The Kusasis armed themselves to the teeth and went to the Mamprusi section. The started shooting all over the place. In fact thanks to the timely intervention of the peace keepers or Bawku would have been in flames now. In reality, the Kusasis are searching to deadly troubles at all times and the silent Mamprusis remain very calm but observant.
