  The Psalmist saidl the Lord was gis life and SALVATION who should he fear.
  
  His life was associated with salvation in BC. The text is not about faith or live. However, David did love God, which means he had faith too.

  Another silly article. All these churches should be turn into technical centers to add value to the industrialization of Ghana. Nothing creative from these church pastors. In fact these writing is nothing but the product of neo colonialist thinking. Not even the European church masters respect these nonsensical writings by thes Ghanaian ministers.Salvation without liberation is empty. Religion is culturally determined.European christianity is a part of Europen power and control. What are Ghanaian religius leaders building for the country. Europe is free. Ghana is not free.So every one, even pastors, should be about bulding a free Ghana. Where is the liberating culture that will inform the liberating theology needed in Ghana to free itself from European religious colonialism. We are watching for the day that the christian churches are turn into liberating institutions. European/American christianity is dividing and enslaving the mind and culture of Africa.This is religious and cultural neo colonialism.

  Lawyer Gyebi, thanks for another insightful piece from the word of God. What I have learned from your article and the supporting scripture reading from 1 Samuel 17:45 – 47 is that, as soon as David said to Goliath “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel …., and that the battle is the Lord’s. When David uttered such word of faith, he spiritually extricated himself from the fight and immediately God almighty took over the fight, and so the battle was pitched between God and Goliath. And we know that no power can withstand the God of Israel, and so if the children of God can learn to say the battle is of the Lord’s, the victory will always be assured.
