'Sir' John must shut the h*ll up!! He is one of those who set the ball rolling for the rumpus that is fast consuming the Elephant. If, as a sitting Secretary General, the clownish 'Sir' John had not began the illegal ordination of Akufo-Addo as the bona fide NPP Flagbearer for the 2016 Elections ahead of the Primaries, we would not have descended into this pit of endless chaos.

If any NPP supporters want the Power so badly, they have to understand that it only takes tact and commonsense to pursue it, and not via any illegal means. The use of vicious intimidation and hooliganism would not get the Power for the Party.

The Party's fate worsens with the kind of violent divisive attacks some of its members are unleashing against others within. It is that simple. The faint attempt by 'Sir' John to spin the horror of the last murderous attempts on the two top-most Party Administrators falls flat on its face.

He should have called it as it is. Terrible! But he does not see it that way, unfortunately. That is because he may well be part of the instigating team to perpetuate the violent chaos.

He and Jake 'son-of-a-bomb-thrower, Obetsebi-Lamptey seem to be in cahoot with the thugs who would have none of Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong's move to clean the rot that they had created at the NPP Hqtrs. No wonder their response to their defeat at the Tamale Congress was so sour.

We have not heard him say anything to condemn the violence, nor the ill-advised wave of insults on former President Kufuor and Alan Kyeremateng by the Akufo-Addo camp that he is part of. So, how does 'Sir' John hope to coalesce the support of all NPP members in the combatting factions to give the Party or Akufo-Addo a win in 2016?

Winning an election does not come with power but consensus to lead the nation with your policies sold while on the campaign trail. The margin of victory, if lopsided, gives the majority party the opportunity to overcome any attempts by the opposition party to stifle wishes of the majority; thus a majority party with a mandate from the people but never power. Election victories do not in themselves hand over power to parties and or individuals; power comes with responsibility no Ghanaian of the political stripes since the 70's is cut out to have.
