  The above first paragraph of the Article is WRONG: TOXICOLOGY is conducted by medico-chemical Institutions and not anybody.Herbal medicine should be regulated by The Ghana Health Authorities.

  Surely this is the best way to go and long overdue but there appears to be some confusion here.
  Toxicological analysis is only part of the solution as far as safety goes BUT Clinical Trials for efficacy of any drug before it is allowed on the market is just as vital.
  
  Therefore, as a start, advertising of any non certified drug in the media should be prohibited throughout the Country immediately.
