He treated the commission with contempt and that is an insult. I just cannot understand why this failed and corrupt man is still in government. No doubt President Mahama's government is incompetent and cannot deliver. The man should be sacked. How do you promote and protect such a person back to the presidency when you have not even completed investigations into the debacle of the abysmal handling of the black stars?

This follows the same pattern of promoting Barton Oduro to the seat of Speaker of Parliament when it has become blatantly obvious that he negligently colluded with Betty Mould to dupe Ghana of 52 million dollars when President Mills has ordered "Do not Pay!" until the matter is resolved at the High Court?

Mahama is not a leader of a serious country. Where punishment and sanctions are due, he rather promotes and protects. The perception here, is that there is more to it than meets the eye. I suspect the president himself is deeply involved in the planning looting and sharing brigade. He is probably the General.

There is no other reason why he is managing the country with such impunity; not accounting for his stewardship; rather lording it over the voters and thinking everyone in Ghana is stupid.

When was the last time he addressed the nation on TV or radio to tell us about what he has done and what he is doing to ease the suffering of the people who put him there?

If the NDC are to save whatever is left of their reputation, they should get rid of Mahama, unless of course the whole party is deeply embedded in the planning, looting and sharing brigade. Currently, there is no rule of law in Ghana.

MY REASONS:
1.Ghana as we speak has no isolation centre for treatment, the said tents have not been completed
2.There is no team of doctors,nurses,cleaners etc trained for ebola case management
3.No simulation exercise has yet been conducted to test our level of preparedness.
4. Ghana has no emergency vehicles or flights to repatriate any detected case meaning if even a case is detect at the airport will remain in Ghana.
5.The Public is not as prepared as it should so an outbreak in Accra will be a disaster.
6. Teleconference could solve and avoid this conference
7. The economic implications of a diagnosed case is huge and politics should not be the only factor in going for a meeting
8.Ghana will be isolated and any Ghanaian who travels will suffer the consequence.
9.Ghana should learn from how through this same ECOWAS conference, ebola got into Nigeria
10.What will be the real benefit for more air condition talking of Ebola among weak and clueless regional leaders besides agreement on travel bans which you don't need to travel to get them done.
11. None of the countries are conducting research into vaccine to warrant an urgent meeting to decide its use or not.
conclusion: this is cheap propaganda meeting and an irresponsible way of gambling the lives of Ghanians for a personal ego. As the meet, South Africa took a bold step to ban entry of any traveler from the affected countries, Kenya airlines same will not make trips to affected areas, because both countries are already seeing reduction in tourism as many people out there thing AFRICA IS A COUNTRY.

Yes we mas help our sister countries but the best help is not to contract it into Ghana
