I learnt some time ago that the unwritten constitution of every non-homogeneous group of people stipulate that the constitution of the hierarchy of the group should reflect the diversity of the membership of the group. For instance in a group made up of 30% men and 70% women, around 70% of the executives must be women.
Based on such principles, the list of the names of the president's aides and staffers must be a cause for concern. While as the people in the Northern part of the country do not constitute anywhere near 50% of the country's population, there are more than 80% of Northerners in the list released.
Is this a case of having more educated Northerners than southerners because of the free-free education in the North? Without showing any disrespect to our brothers and sisters from the North, one would say that President Mahama's government is under-performing because he has failed to pick the right calibre of people to help him in his administration, but rather selected people from his tribe, whether they are good enough or not, just to justify his own campaign statement: "Vote for me because I am also a Northern just like you!"

It is been done so blatantly that it is becoming frightening and I can assure you that voter apathy in the stronghold of the NDC in the central, Volta and greatercAccra regions will send our party into opposition.
Some of them are so unqualified for the positions that it beats me, some are known NPP sympathisers that we wonder what the party strategy about retaining power is.
Akan tribes 49 to 59%, ga -ADANGBES - 8 to 9 %, Ewes 13 to 14 %, all the tribes of the north including the Hausas do not count tob30%, so JM why the regional bias?

Kuagbenu as Exec director of NSS made us to collect salaries of ghost personnel and pay to him each month. Every region had a target to pay the lowest being 20000GHANA CEDIS EVERY MONTH. FORGET THE AGRIC MODULE THAT WAS INTRODUCED INTO THE NSS. IT WAS A GOOD COVER UP. BNI should investigate the so-called internal auditor Gloria Mensah. She is a crook with a chain of houses and is now putting up a hotel; nineteen rooms completed; uses a jaccuzi in her house. Find out from the Secretariat whether she uses the office vehicle! She says it is not comfortable. Check the number and type of cars/vehicles she uses. It is a pity. BNI is carrying out some investigations into ghost names. This is an old sore developed by Vicent Kuagbenu and Gloria Mensah (by the way that is Prosper Bani's girl friend)!! As staff at the Secretariat I am ready to spill the beans with evidence should BNI or EOCO come to investigate.
