  It is not only in Europe where this will be frowned on big time. In most other places, while engaging in an illegal act, if one does not succeed, the perpetrator cannot then lean or rely on the law to to seek redress!

  Oppong and Asante have the balls to now seek assistance from the police, when they were breaking the law. They ought to have known that this was wrong!

  This is a clear case which the investigator and prosecution didn't do their work well since the complainants agreed the ID cards they were issued were fake and were aware they including Ayitey Powers should have been arrested ...

  This is a clear case which the investigator and prosecution didn't do their work well since the complainants agreed the ID cards they were issued were fake and were aware they including Ayitey Powers should have been arrested and prosecuted because they have all defrauded the Ghana Government who owns the ID cards.

  He should have made them aware that there was no guarantee for the work being done and if he fails their deposit will not be returned. Who do they expect to pay for the work already done on their behalf? They should rather be ...

  He should have made them aware that there was no guarantee for the work being done and if he fails their deposit will not be returned. Who do they expect to pay for the work already done on their behalf? They should rather be arrested for trying to defraud the system. This should be a lesson to others that they should make the people they are trying to help sign papers indicating that all deposits are non refundable if the deal does not go through after trying.

  The Ghana Police Service should be ashamed of itself. If there is any fraud here, it was committed by the complainants, because they initiated the transaction. The Police is wasting valuable national resources in getting involved. But in Ghana if one can bribe enough, you can have the Pope arrested for being holy.
