Suicide is a Sin. There are many things that leads to Suicide. Before Depression and all the other factors sets in, first you would have to blame yourself for not utilizing the goals within you. Why did you not also try yourself first. God help those who help themselves. The question now is, where are the institutions handling manners of these nature? Before you jail them for such crimes, have you asked yourself if you have placed a golden spoon in their hands and they failed? You don't have to criminalized them for committing suicide. We are not God. Only God understands their pleads. However, It is a Sin against God and not against man.

we are all different people with different personality traits and how we deal with societal pressures aree differnt. not everyone can overcome challenges as easily and may worry excessively, when no help or encouragement from immediate family or loved is forthcomming, they fill betrayed orlet down. at this point,all belief in life or life after death becomes irrelevant to that person and suicide becomes the option/ solution which might alleviate that pain. so my advice show support and love to anyone who shows any sign of depression you might just save a life by doing so.
