This is a tip of the iceberg. If NDC is allowed to continue misruling Ghana for two more years there will be no country called Ghana. There has been looting from all sectors of the economy and this is a continuation of what was started by Jery Rawlings, the murderer. (what they refer to as Rawlings' legacy). What are the duties of the security forces: Army, police etc? To protect these thieves and let them loot Ghana DEAD, while they are used to harass innocent opposition members? Unless the security forces are also involved in this stealing syndicate, something might have been done. From all indications this guy's parents are well known NDC members that is why nothing can be done. Why do we continue to pay huge salaries for security forces that protect thieves and harass innocent people? We need the Arab Spring.

The people who normally have knowledge about the crime and collaborate to steal from the taxpayers are:

3.GES auditors
4.Bank personnel

These types of schemes have been going on for decades. Its more pronounced in the training colleges and hospitals where
most of the employees are young and normally leave the country to seek greener pastures after serving for a year or two.
As you all know, due to the uncertainty involved in travelling abroad, most of these young folks do not turn in their resignation
when they vacate their post. Their salaries keep coming in at the banks several months after they've absonded
Some of the honest ones do make the school principals aware they are no longer in the country. The responsibility to terminate the payments of their
salaries, rest solely on the principal, who's supposed to report to GES, and get a replacement for the teacher.

Some principals however, take undue advantaage of the situation, make all the 'moves' necessary to continue to cash in till thy kingdom come.

The school accountant will be aware of the situation after a couple of months but keep mute. The principals and their accountants are like 'bafan ne fom'
GES auditors, (super-corrupt), easily detect these gaps whenever they visit the school for their regular audits, but as you know, I am yet to see any pricipal exposed
by these audits.This is how the auditors maintain their pot bellies. They get a cut.

The banks are supposed to verify authentication before making payment, so if the individual is not physically available, something shady must must have happened before that
salary will be paid out - Bank personnel aid and abet in this regard

We all agree these types of fraud happen the ministries and services in Ghana, but If the government is really serious about rooting out
this canker from our system, they should start from Teachers Training colleges, auditing from the last ten years.
I can guarantee you, the money retrieved can build enough schools to relocate the over 500 pupils presently schooling under trees to the classroom.

Oman Ghana:

- Mismanagement
- No hope in sight.

With both parents in the GES, I will not be surprised if strings were pulled for him to get this benefit.

Don't be surprised if letters or documents are shown to prove that he is entitled to the paid study-leave.
