  Otumfuo, Nana Asantehene, you seem to have forgotten the Bompata chieftaincy dispute case. As a result of this inaction on the part of your Asanteman Council, the town has been left without a queen mother for several years now, while the current chief who resides in Accra hardly visits the town.
  
  No wonder there is no development whatsoever going on in this town. Without vision, the people really perish, especially the youth of this town. Is this what the Asanteman Council wishes for the same people they are supposed to serve?
  
  It is amazing how we fail to correct injustice in our society as leaders even if our failure to do so is detrimental to the very society we are expected to serve; yet we cry out loud for justice when the matter at hand adversely concerns us.
  
  It is equally amazing to observe that cases brought before the Asanteman Council can drag for over 40 years without any attempt to call for settlement. Such gross inefficiencies definitely call for urgent need to reform the way the Asanteman Council operates.
  
  In the name of all the Asantehenes who have ruled the Asante kingdom before your turn, Otumfuo, please help!

  Why are they always calling for otumfuo. Otumfuo may be asantehene, but there are three asantehenes Kokofu, Daadise Omanhene Kenyasi, bekwai. You need to go too Asanteman council and talk to them.

  Indiscipline lot! Even if they have a case, they should follow and respect procedures. After all every society has moral/social codes including laws and protocol. At work places we first report to our immediate manager or supervisors and if all fails then we approach a higher authority to address our problems and difficulties at the work place or communities otherwise we could be living in an anarchists state where lawlessness, violence, arrogance, display of impunity, innuendos and lies prevail. Our youth must learn to be responsible and accountable for their actions and must follow the due processes in our communities. They are irresponsible in taking the law into their hands.

  Did the Chief informed his subjects or sought input from his people before allowing the company to mine the rivers and where is the Chief; if he has his people welfare and concerns at heart he would have seen to the amicable and peaceful resolution of the conflict before travelling; and please tell me how many of the Ghanaian companies complies or sit down with their employee to have a round table discussion and even if it does happen it always ends in a strike; it seems you live overseas where your assumptions may hold true, left to me the whole 'chieftancy thing' in Ghana should be abolished because it impedes the progress and development of Ghana- the only thing the chiefs know how to do is to sell lands over and over again thus creating conflicts and litigations-and marrying young girls instead of seeing to the development of their towns!
