And as usual nothing will happen, because he is most likely a member of the ruling govt., and one of the boys. J J Rawlings came and murdered people who he perceivee as corrupt. Look and see what the party he founded,The NDC is doing. They are so sunken in corruption that nothing works in Ghana anymore. Shameless NDC govt. that have taken Ghana and her people hostage for more than 30 yrs with no gains for the masses as they amassed millions for themselves and thier cronies. I've been following this Korle-Bu saga. In as much I don't agree with the ex. CEO taking this car[if indeed he's not entitled to it], I believe the so-call senior staff and the union appear to have an agenda. They've succeeded in getting rid of the CEO and BoD chair and yet still they appear not to be satisfied. I guess they might as well as for the abolition over those positions and take over the running of the facility because the rate they're going very soon they will have no competent and experienced administrator/executive willing to take up appointment at Korle-Bu. Perhaps that is the real hidden agenda to make sure Korle-Bu doesn't attract strong personalities to manage the facility.
Why the fixation on cars, etc. Positions in the private and public service at some level go with certain perks and privileges, this is not unusual. Of course I'm not saying these should be done at the detriment or expense of the poor patient.
The union and the senior so call, have realised the challenges/problems are still staring at them in the face even after the exit of the CEO/BoD chair. They should realise some of them are actually the responsible for the problems. They think they have job for life eh? Hmmmm...public service, the entire system needs overhauling including the union and senior staff so call.
