  That is what is called the free market enterprise. When prices of petroleum products and utilities goes up, it affects everything else. When the exchange rate goes up, it affects the prices of everything. We forget everything on the market is intertwined. These fools in power do not consider all these facts when making policy decisions, they just sit down and decide we are going to increase import duties forgetting doing that will affect other parts of the economy or should I say "ecomini".

  From this figure if taken in macro terms Bawumia analysis on the exchange rate is correct, just based on the fact that producers import most of the raw materials that go in to their process.
