would you blame someone who so confused, gives up on religion, considering different versions of creation stories and claim to truth. I think God will be happy with someone who doesn't associate to any particular religion but respect his neighbor. religion is discriminatory, divisive, hypocritical and promotes a superior race over another. Israel enjoys sympathy from xtian countries whilst Palestinians draw sympathy from Islamic countries. People who don't associate with religion are more sympathetic towards humanity than religious people.

The Adam story originated in Mesopotamia during the time of the Babylonians. The story was adopted by many tribes at the time. That is how it came into the Bible. Then Islam came later and like ALL new religions they copied some aspects of the pre-existing religions.

In the next century any new religion will mention computers and aircraft in their holy books.

Check Isaiah 53. Islam and any other religion is not from GOD ALMIGHTY they imitations from Satan. He who have ears let him listen. The Bible is divide into new and old covenants. The reason being that the first covenant that was made between GOD and mankind through MOSES was not followed by Mankind. We violated the covenant. After the violation God had a master plan to redeem mankind to HIMSELF free from sin because HE is HOLY OF HOLLIES. Man is the most advance form of matter, and in that a conscious matter. Matter can not be created or destroyed, but can be changed from one stage to another. When matter is conversed from one form to another there can not be a reverse action. Matter also lives in time and space, which are the very precondition for the existence of matter.
Matter can not be created nor destroyed, thus no one can create matter, much more in the case of religion an idea. Most people forget that an idea does not act on matter to change its form. Man always act physically on matter to change it to satisfy his biological and social needs.
The prerequisite to act on matter and change its form depends on knowledge and skills, which can only be obtained in society. Society is made up of human beings which foremost occupation is the transfer of knowledge and skill to their members.
Among all animals only man performs labour activity. Other animal do what they do make nests and burrows in accordance with their biological definiteness. Man on the other hand is deprived of all that instinct, thus have to apply knowledge and skill that are transferred to him by society from generation to generation.
Religion has lived its usefulness and has become a Club of Damocles hanging on the neck of humanity. The wars in the Balkan, Nigeria, Iraq, Afghanistan and now in Syria and Ukraine have all proved that religion pose danger to man and his civilization.

If you read the parable of the vineyard that JESUS was talking about you will see that man has been blinded so much so that the son of the living GOD who brought fire from Heaven to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah with archaeological evidence to prove that that city was destroyed with fire in modern day Israel goes without saying that man has really departed from GOD. We are all after our own selfish desires and needs. Matter did not create itself. Something that cannot be destroyed don't you think there is something divine about it? think about it. Can 1.2 billion people be wrong? Well, in logic we have something called “argumentum ad numerum“. It states that something is true if a lot of people believe in it. But argumentum ad numerum is a logical fallacy. Truth cannot be established by the consensus of the majority. In fact many arguments have been proven to be false, even though everyone in the world once accepted them as true. For example, not until a few centuries ago everyone believed that the Earth is flat and is at the centre of the universe. Despite that common belief both geocentricity and the idea of the flat Earth were false. A false belief does not become true even if everyone thinks they are true.
Therefore, not only 1.2 billion people, but the entire mankind can be wrong. As Bertrand Russell said: “The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible.”
After shattering the myth of argumentum ad numerum, let us put Islam under scrutiny and see whether it is a religion or a cult.
The following is a description of what cult is:
1. A cult is a religious group with extreme beliefs and practices – beliefs that are often contrary to science and logic but they are believed as “obvious” truth by the cult members.
2. The members of cults often isolate themselves from friends, family and society and use deceptive and unethical recruiting techniques
3. Use manipulative methods to control the minds of followers
4. Venerate a human leader or leaders
5. Recruiting work is performed by all of the members
6. People are not allowed to criticize the leader, the doctrine, or the organization, or read information that is critical of the cult.
7. Members are trained to reject and disbelieve criticism of the cult as lies from Satan.
8. Members spy on one another and report improper activities or comments to leaders.
9. Members are taught to suppress anything which might reflect negatively to outsiders about the cult.
10. The doctrine is absolutist and the ideology is internalized as “the Truth.”
11. Members are told to avoid contact with ex-members or critics, even their relatives.
12. Members are instilled with a deep fear about ever leaving the organization, and anyone who does depart is of the devil and sometimes severely punished.
13. Members are emotional controlled and warned of being caught and punished.
14. Disciplinary action is administered by group leaders, which may involve excommunication for such things as questioning organization policy or doctrine.
15. People are encouraged to sacrifice education, career and family interests to server the interests of the cult.
16. Advocate socializing only with other members in the organization and avoiding outsiders.
17. The belief in apocalypse and Dooms Day.

All these traits are present in Islam.
1. Islam claims to be a religion with strong devotion to Muhammad and a set of unsubstantiated doctrines presented by him. Monotheism is used as a pretext to exert absolute control over the believers, leaving them no chance to question or investigate alternative paths.
2. Muhammad forced his followers to leave their families (8:72) and gathered them in Yathrib. He said: “And those who believed but did not leave their homes, ye have no duty to protect them till they leave their homes”. He warned those who did not follow him, leaving behind their families, will be cursed by Allah and “their habitation will be hell”(4:97). Muhammad went as far as to order his followers to murder those Muslims who defected his barricade.(4:89) In Yathrib he banished and killed the Jews who did not believe in him, thus eliminating the chance of his followers coming in contact with outsiders and being influenced by anyone. In this way he exerted absolute control over the lives and the minds of his followers. Jim Jones did the same. He called his town “Jonestown”. Muhammad changed the name of Yathirb to Madinatul Nabi (Prophet’s Town)
3. He used manipulative methods to control the minds of his followers. These methods ranged from threat of hellfire, and promises of paradise, to exhaustive rituals of prayers and fasts, devised to numb the thought, and threat of physical punishment including execution and constant warfare, keeping his followers in perpetual state of agitation.
4. All believers were asked to promote his cause through Jihad, propaganda or by giving generously from their wealth. 4:95, 9:20, 49:15, 61:11
5. The criticism of Muhammad and Islam was totally prohibited and if anyone dared to question him or his decisions, Omar swiftly unshielded his sword and threatened to slash the throat of the intrepid questioner forcing him to apologize. The message was sent in a very clear tone that no one must question Muhammad and his authority. 1400 years later, the message remains the same. If you question Islam you will be killed.
6. Muslims are told to dismiss any criticism of Islam as coming from Satan and they often avoid reading critical views about their Faith. I have received testimonies of apostates who confessed that at first when they came across this site they stopped reading it and dismissed it as the work of Satan. See this I myself never read any book critical of Islam and once frowned at a friend who expressed her curiosity about Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses.
7. Muslims are encouraged to spy on each other and report any sign of dissent. Amr bil Maroof wa Nahi anil Munkir (Commanding to follow the religion and preventing from doing what is prohibited) is a tenet of Islam. Every Muslim is required to poke his nose in the private lives of others, spy on them and tell them what they should do and what they should not do. Every Muslim is an enforcer of religion and the moral police for others.
8. Muslims suppress anything that might present Islam in negative light. Preserving the image of Islam is of utmost importance and Muslims lie with clarity of conscience to misrepresent their religion and make it look good. For example women in Islam are treated like animals and are considered as deficient in intelligence. Every Muslim knows that including the women, who blame the men for it but not the Islam. But they lie through their teeth bragging about the “elevated” status of women in Islam. Jihad means aggressive war to expand Islam. Every Muslim knows that. Yet all of them lie and say Jihad means “self defense”. A couple of years ago I received a very angry email from a Muslim who cursed me for revealing the fact that Muhammad had slept with a 9-year old child and at the end he said “the damage is already done” and I will be certainly punished for what I had done. The fact that Muhammad slept with a child did not bother this Muslim but what bothered him was revealing this fact.
9. Islam is extremely absolutist and Muslims believe that it is the only true religion. This “truth” however is not self evident. It is “true” because Muhammad said so.
10. Muslims are told to shun the apostates and the critics of Islam. New converts are often circled and are isolated from their non-Muslim family and friends. They are showered with love and receive a lot of emotional support until the brainwashing is complete.
11. Muslims are instilled with the fear of leaving Islam. This fear comes in two forms. One is the fear of Hell and of eternal punishment and the other is the fear of being caught and put to death by fellow Muslims, including their best friends and family.
12. Those who leave Islam must live in constant threat of being discovered and killed. In Muslims’ Comments section of this site you can see that Muslims often talk about this fear and say they pity me for having to look over my shoulders all the time and live in fear of being assassinated. The values are so distorted that they do not pity themselves for being the assassins but pity me for having to live in their fear.
13. In Islam disciplinary action includes beating, maiming, stoning, beheading or jail. Excommunication is for minor offenses. The poet Ka’b and two others were excommunicated for fifty days and during that time no one spoke to them. Ka’b’s wife was told to leave him and wherever he went people ignored him as if he was invisible. All this, because he did not accompany Muhammad in the war of Tabutk.
14. Muslims are told to sacrifice their comfort, their wealth and including their lives to promote Islam. Young men are encouraged to leave their studies and work, wage Jihad, and commit suicide bombing to make Islam dominant. Family and even children are regarded as “tests” of the believers. To prove their loyalty to Allah, they must be able to forgo all these “worldly attachments” and get ready to sacrifice their lives in the cause of Islam.
15. Muslims are discouraged to take friends from amongst the unbelievers even if these unbelievers are their kin. 3:28 They are told the unbelievers are najis (filthy) 9:28 and that the believers should not associate with them.
Based on the above, Islam is a cult. It is the biggest and the most successful cult. It practically reunites every feature of cult. Other cults may not be cultic in some of the above points. But Islam is cultic in every way and it would be a gross mistake to number it among religions just because 1.2 billion benighted people call themselves Muslims

My friend a hardworking woman from Eritrea was worried because without her knowledge and approval taken to a mosque for Friday prayers. Imagine if she had taken a moslem immigrant child to church in Stockholm, they would have burned her house down. Sweden a peaceful and tolerant country is facing a big problem because they let many moslems in and as they terrorize us with their lazy and primitive behavior. We are worried !

You are a sower of division and hatred - the Bible has Jesus telling the Samaritan woman that "salvation is from the Jews" and so it is! The "Akedah" or binding of Isaac held great merit because Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son. In Genesis 22, when Issac asked Abraham where the sacrifice would come from, Abraham replied that God would provide the lamb, and they found the ram tangled in the bushes which was used for the sacrifice. But, you see, God did ultimately provide the lamb in Jesus Christ, the Messiaah, Son of David and lamb of God offered on Calvary and resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven and then sending us the Holy Spirit to live in the hearts of believers.

I wonder if the Mark of the Beast spoken of in Revelations 13 is not the Bismillah. Allah is NOT the God of Jews or Christians, despite your claim to be an Abrahamic religion. The God of Christians is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who wants a personal relationship with us. You do not speak truth or peace, but rather division, confusion, and lies.

The Pharisees and the Sadducees knew that JESUS CHRIST was the son of GOD but because of their hypocrisy and self seeking tendencies they refused to acknowledge that fact which was glaring day and night. The chief priest at the time also knew who JESUS CHRIST was but he refused to acknowledge HIM because the chief priest saw THE SAVIUOR and MESSIAH as competition. John the Baptist knew JESUS CHRIST immediately he saw JESUS CHRIST. What did JESUS do? He also acknowledge John the Baptist because they were both serving the father who at in HEAVEN. AT the time of JESUS and after JESUS physical departure from earth nobody has ever performed a quarter of the miracles JESUS did. Look, when it comes to the many shameful things that we do or used to engage in openly or in secret(though not secret before the Father of celestial light) including idol worship, as refereed to in your text, it is only Jesus Christ who can wash and clean one up before the Father. One cannot choose to die in ignorance, else it would be most regrettable to die and find oneself at the other side of the divide.

I have always said that the things of God are free, but are not cheap. Salvation(the saving justice of God) is free but it cost God so much, that is why I can be so mad with myself when I engage in very shameful conducts or behaviors, myself.
Anytime, evil though comes into you mind, immediately, make a conscious effort not to feed on it, turn your thoughts and mind from it and engage in something else.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you have not received Christ, then you have not started the journey at all, but remember that there is an account to give, and it is only by the mercies and grace of God that one can make it through the narrow way. Broad if the way that leads to destruction, and many go through it, but narrow is the way that leads to Life and few will find it. We must aspire to be part of the few, ladies and gentlemen.

In our Christian walk with the Lord, let us aspire to be Holy and also avoid idle utterances and comments, as well as gossips. Aglow in spirit, persevere in prayers, and read the WORD. Do not be tempted or provoked to speak or answer anyhow to the idle pronouncements of others. Let you words minister Grace to others.

Nature, itself speaks, announces or declares the existence of God. This is because the invisible qualities of God are clearly seen in the things that HE, God, has made.

Therefore man has no excuse(Romans). Infact, this our generation has no excuse at all, because knowledge has abound(as prophesied by the Prophet Daniel), in terms of the easy and free access to information, for all to investigate the matter at hand, that we may know for a certainty that God has given us Life and that Life is in his Son, Jesus Christ. This truth forms an integral part of an inspired WORD that God, by the power of the Holy Spirit inspired men of God to write portions of the TRUTH over a protracted period of time, throughout the ages past, concerning his SON, Jesus Christ, until He was manifested at the fullness of time.

The writings of Moses, and the other Jewish Prophets, as well as the Psalms testified about Christ Jesus whom all the Jewish Prophet wrote about. Christ himself has come down from heaven to testify of the Truth, therefore it is your responsibility , an an individual, to investigate and be sure of all things, so that no one else deceives you by the deception of men.

The authenticity of the Scriptures is just formidable, against any argument (2nd Corinth 10. 4, 5). It is just for your own good that you make time and scrutinize things so that no one else comes and deceive you. Infact, we are even encouraged, in Scripture, to be sure of all things.

The Scriptures makes it clear that, Satan (and the demons) continue to deceive the entire inhabited earth (see Revelation). Demonic spirits are wicked. They work relentlessly captivating the mind, and spiritually blind the eyes of many so that they may not come to the knowledge of the Truth.

It is not the Truth that will set one free, but the KNOWLEDGE of it. The Scriptures are in many households, but how many actually spend time reading it.

The covenant of God with Jacob(Israel)is unprecedented. The Jews were the ones that were entrusted with the ORACLES(sacred commitments) of God. Christ affirmed this by saying "Salvation is of the JEW". That is the saving justice of God has come through the instrumentality of the Jews, in general, and Jesus Christ in particular.

Our Lord and saviour has Jesus Christ of the Bible has commanded that we baptize in the NAME of the Father, and the SON and of the HOLY GHOST. Baptism is the immediate commandment for those who have believed and repented(disabuse their mind of ignorance through a subsequent knowledge of the Truth)

We are to honour the SON, even as we honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son DOES NOT HONOUR the Father who sent the SON. Honouring the Son requires a knowledge of him, as it is written, and confessing HIM to the nations, that he came to save humanity through his crucifixion, death and resurrection, and that through him we are reconciled to God.
The son of Adam, and hence death did not come as a surprise to the all knowing God, because the lamb of God was slained before the foundation of the world. One cannot also talk about the Father, without talking about Christ, because Father is glorified in the Son. Infact, what makes you a qualified heir to the extend of being a child of God is your belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.

The Son of God is more than a Prophet. He existed before all things(that is creation). Indeed, all things were created through HIM and for HIM.

The book of Hebrews warns us to be very attentive to what we have received, for God in these last days has spoken to us through HIS Son, so that we may not reject such a great Salvation, something that all the angels in heaven bare record to, and continue to warn the inhabited earth to fear the true God and Worship him(see revelation). Angels are ministers to those who are heirs of salvation.

Even in this split second, an individual can make a choice, by receiving Christ as Lord and personal saviour. One can redeem the time for the days are evil. Do we not hear of road accidents and other calamities every now and then? You go to emergency sections of Hospitals and you realize that we are living on knife edge.

Satan is a thief, who came to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ has come that WE may have life and have it abundantly. And, as an individual, you should go pass what others believe in. You are to come to a point where you affirm your belief through your proclamation. Christ, once asked his disciples what people say about him, and he directed the question to the apostles themselves, and Peter said "You are the Christ, the SON of the living God". Our Lord Jesus responded, by saying,"Blessed are you, Bar Jona, for flesh and blood did not reveal this(TRUTH) to you, but my Father who is in heaven".
