How is it that Nii Agbo calls for greater ties with this same people who are stealing national possessions. Sister Province, from where? Friendships built on equality, shared ideals and common needs or survival are rare and far between. We are also reminded by history to learn from past mistakes else we're bound to repeat those past mistakes. Has our leaders ever racked their brains to understand why China has been on a buying binge across under developed and developing nations while laying claim to every natural resources between China and neighboring nations? Can anyone of age and intellect recall a relation between people of developed or emerging nations and underdeveloped nations where those presumed free gifts did not come with strings? Ghana already has the experience of Chinese nationals taking over every conceivable concessions Ghana gave by way of foreign investments. The population of China and India has overwhelmed even the USA with a population of some 350 million to 450 million and seat of most innovative ideas. Forging friendships must not be driven by desperation but through first rate thinking; we will never achieve sustainable development through begging and yearning for free handouts.
