Making public toilets free for everybody to stem the spread of cholera will be a better policy option than just making it free for kids.

Funding free public toilets from the consolidated fund will be a far better and smarter policy move than that stupid free sanitary pads proposal for schoolgirls which will rather expose vulnerable and naive schoolgirls to predatory male school teachers.

57years after independence we still do not have clean public places of convenience, and woe unto to you, should you have nature's call in the middle of Accra. You might have to take a taxi home to ease yourself, and that is to say if your home has a toilet facility. This useless government can find money to pay judgment debts and dubious projects but can't find money to fund a huge social program like free, accessible and clean public toilet. Ghana is in dire need of more and free and clean public toilets. I shudder to think how the multitudes in places like Makola and Kejetia ease themselves in the absence of public sewerage, free, accessible, affordable and clean toilets? We will save more on healthcare in total, if we can provide the free public places of convenience. What we have now is equivalent to being pesewas wise but cedis foolish.

Our Government is busy stealing from any venture where money is involved,World Cup,GYEDEE,SADA,but where they are suppose to show leadership you will never find them.
Is there no authority responsible for sanitation in Ghana?
Mr President free "shiting"alone for kids will not solve the problem.
