It was to counter this reason, that the primary congress was increased to 140,000 voters. The mass voters are not big fans of Nana. Hence the trouncing of Nana at Tamale national executives congress. The main congress is going to emulate the Tamale congress. Nana will lose badly. This analysis may not be easily obvious.

Can Nana win the majority of the 140000 delegates over, that is the question. Remember these same super-delegates have been voting for Nana since 2007. Those are his friends. The task ahead is winning the votes of the about 70,000 delegates who mostly don't owe any allegiance to Nana. Alan is believed to liked by these mass voters. They are just looking forward to the general election. Its not over at all. It has not even started.

Ghana is suffering under this criminal NDC people, and NPP cannot continue to lose elections because they continue to present an unattractive candidate to Ghanaians. Hints aside, what has happened here is an emphatic and resounding endorsement for Nana Akuffo-Addo.Its not like as if Akuffo-Addo got 54% and the others got the rest of the 46%. What has happened here is not what has been erroneously referred to as a landslide. This is either an avalanche or an earthquake. It is a proper Kukrudu in action.

Of course politics can be unpredictable but, if you will permit me, let us employ a bit of common-sense or algebra here.

I presume that most of the 787 people of the NPP who just emphatically endorsed Akuffo-Addo are leading members - super-delegates of the NPP. If they are leading members of the NPP, can I safely presume that they were also voted into office by the same 140,000 delegates who will be voting at the forthcoming main congress for the flag-bearer of their party?

And if indeed it is so, can we not by some mere logical equation or deduction, assume that there is, and there will be some kind of mutual mathematical consensus at the forthcoming national elections?

Yes, anything can happen between now and the forthcoming elections for the flag-bearer, but we can only weigh and predict the future from what the moment offers us today.

This is a win-win for the NPP party as a whole, and congratulations again to all the contestants for a good campaign and once again for further enhancing and entrenching the democratic tenets of the NPP. It is worthy of emulation. In this contest, nobody is a loser. NPP has won and the star shines every brightly and speaks to the naysayers, that, the NPP is the best political party with the capability and mental focus and clear tunnel vision to address the intractable woes which continues to compound under the NDC gov't and keeps Ghana from achieving it's goals as a country.
As the party prepares for the 2016 elections, let the NPP party be guided by a greater purpose and a greater urgency to come together, unite for a common goal whilst remaining resolute in it's quest to seek the mandate of all Ghanaians everywhere to address the myriad of problems which threatens to bury the country in the quagmire of retrogression and damnation. Ghana is looking up to the NPP to provide a new direction, to provide exemplary leadership, to provide a new purpose and a new paradigm to the socio-economic growth and development objectives of the country.
