The Directors, Deputy Directors, supervisors, Accountant, Auditors etc must be transfered from one institution to the other and that alone cld save the nation billions of dollars. Yes the argument that it will cost the govt some money for these transfers it will surely pay itself in the long run. Mahama must consider this view seriously.

Thus far, Rawlings wish seems to have been visibly realized through his own Party and the only President we have had in Ghana who is more incompetent than he Rawlings himself was. Im talking about no other than the Right Venerable Incompetent JD Mahama. The man who history will credit as being responsible for the total destruction of Kwame Nkrumahs heritage and infrastructure.

As for the Civil Servants, much as it is regrettably true that they are all useless, from top to bottom - old and young, one can only get the kind of Civil Servants that reflect the nature and quality of govts we have had since the fall of the 1st Republic.

During the 1st Republic, the Ghana Civil Service - and believe it or not, even the Ghana Police Service were both credited with the kudos of being amongst the best in the whole world. But unfortunately Ghanaians say they dont like the way Kwame Nkrumah efficiently managed the country and therefore if they dont like responsible govt, this is what we will all get - stupidity and incompetence at its most glorious.

She may be right in some way but many people changed their age before things were computerized. Others too did not have parents who were that much educated to have their birth certificates. How do you determine the age of such people and sack them? Does she want people to be sacked so party activists etc would be used to replace them like the school feeding program? Then another government comes and replaces them too? Let us not politicize the civil service. Anita herself, what qualification has she got to occupy her position she has now? What about experience? But the rumour abounds that there are many who are over that year being paid under the A-G. I believe that is the source of her statement. The matter needs further investigations to determine if really there are people of that age being paid by the A-G.

Look at what has happened since the country was handed over to the young ones - Mahama, Abrokwa, Kweetey and Totobi's son; not forgetting Elvis and Jasmin. Have these young guys done any better than the old-men you want sacked? The current cream of young people in charge are more corrupt than Rawlings himself.
A word of warning: Wait until the young ones gain some experience before you call for the heads of the old ones. This mistake of kicking out the old and experienced ones in order to bring in the youth is what has brought our country its present predicament! A word to the wise is in the North! One of them is in abroad usually UK etc who will send you some goods (luggage or parcel) with money and will give you a code and phone numbers to clear the goods.
When you call the phone numbers they will confirm you and ask you to pay some amount of money through mobile money or GCB etc, later before the goods will be delivered to you at your door step.
They will not want you to come to their office but claim to deal in door to door services.
A number of people have been defrauded by these criminals

They usually use GLO and Tigo lines and names such as: London Instant Cargo Services, Door to Door Cargo Services, Instant Cargo Delivery Services etc

If an individual is required to retire at age 60 from Civil Service, that's should be enforced. Nothing stops those individual from seeking other employment in the private sector.

The problem is that several civil servant go on official retirement, take out their pensions and other entitlements. Then go through the back door to obtain "contract" with the government again to be paid as "consultants."
That's one of the reasons why young graduates remain unemployed.

This practice is very prevalent within Ministry of Education which engages the services of numerous retired teachers, with the excuse that they are "experienced."

These people at the Civil Service who are to retire have not been contributing to the development of the country, but stealing and corrupting other civil servants. ANITA DESOUSSA TOOK A QUE FROM RAW LINGS NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS HUMANITY AND SHE IS WORKING WITH THIS TYPE OF ATTITUDE.
SHE IS ARROGANT,CONCEITED AND IRRESPECTFUL JUST LIKE JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA,THE HEAD OF STATE,AFTER GOING OUT TO ANNOUNCE TO GHANAIANS THAT "ONTIE OBIAA"IT'S
AN INCITEMENT TO THE CITIZENRY.
BECAUSE ANITA IS NOT MARRIED TO ANY MAN AND AD BEEN ENJOYING HERSELF IN THE OPEN,SHE ONLY OPENS HER MOUTH 360 DEGREES AND INSULT EVEN THOSE WHO ARE OLDER THAN HER IN THE OPEN WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT SHE HAD SAID,WHETHER THERE WILL BE ANY REPERCUSSIONS OR NOT.IF SHE WAS A CIVIL SERVANT STILL AT POST,I STRONGLY BELIEF THAT SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST PERSON TO CRITICIZE OR COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CURRENT BAD ECONOMIC SITUATION WE FOUND OURSELVES.
