They referred to Asabee as a "take-away president". I hope Ghanaian voters would follow the lead of the NPP delegates who eat the rice and yet voted according to their conscience; they voted for the one they believed is the deserving candidate. This will discourage such politicians and save our country from the evil of vote buying indulged in by our politicians.

May I take this opportunity to congratulate the most experienced District Chief Executive (DCE) of all times. Mr. De graft Fokuo has seen it all since the Revolutionary era and is still going strong. For any official to last so long shows how honest and dedicated he must be. Ordinarily he should have moved on to at least Member of Parliament (MP) as has been the usual trend. However, being in the "Lion's Den", he must have conducted himself exceptionarily well to have lasted so long. Congratulations, old chap!
