  For the arrogant Sir John to be literally on his knees now urging the remaining aspirants to throw in the towel,shows the level of anxiety that exists within the party establishment!
  Who in this country can doubt the fact that,as things stand now,those pushing for acclamation, are setting the party up for a catastrophic failure in December 2016? Given the 'avalanche' pf total support we all witnessed prior to Sunday`s ballot, is it not a surprise that close to a fifth of the total number of those who voted,are not sold on Nana`s prospect of being able to wrestle power from the NDC?
  Yn the NPP`s bastions of Ashanti and Eastern Regions, was Nana able to secure the 99.9% vote that would have represented a complete sweep? True 100% scores were registered in U/E and U/W regions;but do these regions really matter that much to the NPP in terms of securing victory in the 2016 vote which matters? People can choose to downplay political reality and promote this effort to stampede everybody in a pre-determined direction,only to regret their folly in 2016!

The beauty of it is that the discerning people of Ghana will read these things and draw their own conclusions. This kind of banter appears to be personal and they will not help anybody.

Nana please keep on dreaming. If the Ashantis and the akyems are following you blindly, most of us will ask you important questions and will require correct answers from you. You want to be the CEO of Ghana but you are refusing to come out with the truth. The Vice president in the person of Amissah Arthur produced his certificates in public when some NPP media houses tried to challenge his credentials. Why can`t you do the same. Ghanaians are neither stupid or insane to vote for a quack and FAKE lawyer without a genuine law certificate as President. This is not a question of NPP, NDC, CPP, PPP, PNC etc. It is about the integrity of a candidate. We do not want a CROOK and a CRIMINAL as President of Ghana.

  The purpose of the special congress was to reduce the number of contestants for the flag bearer of the NPP. Unfortunately, some members of the party think it is the final decision of the party. Absoutely not! All contestants are still legally allowed to campaign and tell party members why they think they will be a better choice to the next opponent or should I say contestant.
  
  My problem with the whole charade is nothing more than a charade. Does it really matter that one person runs in the name of a party or a 100 people do? Why is it that for some strange reason, Akuffo Addo, has been rejected twice or to the NPP supporter been stolen from on two occasions? Why has the elections been so close for this particular candidate who could not wield enough power to get the other parties to support him to give the NPP the needed 50.00001% needed votes to surpass that of the NDC? There are some fundamental questions that have to be examined. To ignore these simple questions, may end up spelling doom for the party.
  
  Amazingly, most people have concluded that Nana has won the flagbearship of the party and essentially the Presidency. We must be careful to hail one as King so quickly and discount others as meaningless. There simply would not be any unity if some who are interested in the same position are sidelined just to have one man live his dreams.
  
  I think, all, whether 10, 20, 50 or 100, must be allowed to campaign and exercise their freedom in the party. It is undemocratic to stop interested individuals in their tracks for the sake of party unity when such a deed would breed discontent and anger by others to the peril of all members seeking authority to rule.
  
  If the idea of the special delegates vote was todetermine a final candidate, then I wouldn't be interested in a party like this, that a leader is elected that resembles that of the Chinese Communist Party or the defunct U.S.S.R. Politburo. It is unGhanaian and undemocratic. Listen carefully to each candidate and what they have to offer. Whether, sex appeal, money appeal, whatever appeal, let the process of elimination work naturally to foster peace and tranquility in order to keep the much needed unity.
