Here was a country in the midst of many other countries (in Africa) where similar controversies over elections and election results had seen mayhem visited on citizens. Then, also, was the intense hype that surrounded the day of the verdict. Whether real or imagined the media had made it seem war was the destination of the country, right after the pronouncement of the verdict. No wonder some powerful countries were reported to have warned their citizens to evacuate Ghana!

Surely, under such circumstances anybody who did what Nana Addo did would earn great respect. RESPECT and honor are due him, let's give him If some to hero-worship him , it's just fine with me.

Akuffo Addo has the nerve to say without an ounce of embarrassment that he deserves credit for accepting the verdict handed down by the GSC.....if he had rejected the decision of the majority of the judges, Ghana won't have imploded because the average Ghanaian was very much conscious of the wide-ranging implications of any civil unrest that would have ensued....the ordeals of Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the Ivory Coast are still fresh in our minds....

African politicians just can't seem to shy away from the limelight and controversy....when a conservative majority of the United States Supreme Court in 2000 ruled in favor of George W. Bush in Gore v Bush, Al Gore publicly accepted the verdict in good faith and spurned urgings by his supporters to challenge the verdict and he never, ever demanded any sort of hero worship. This was political maturity at its best. Gore has never brought up the verdict again, ever....

Akufo Addo, on the ither hand, realised what POLITICAL harm the case was making for Ghana and decided that enough was enough -- he wouldn't allow his quest for the presidency to drag on and on and ruin investment opportunities for the country. For who would invest in a country whose presidency could change in a minute, upon the decision of a procrastinating supreme court?

Akufo Addo acted in a patriotic way; he has not asked anyone to award him anything; it is the FACTS that speak for themselves. Tsatsu won the case and made his money, but he is JEALOUS of Akufo Addo, who added to his prestige. And as we know, a good name is better than riches.

The best of the best among Ghanaian lawyers. In fact the best lawyer of all time in the country. What makes you unique is your calmness and humility. Despite your unparallel legal prowess you are always calm and making sure that you get involve in these high profile cases in the country to bring peace to all of us.

If we did not have an excellent lawyer like you, we would in most of these instances end up in violence and mayhem.

Indeed you are the one who should be hailed by Ghanaians by making the cases some of these political detractors initiate in the country useless. You will always defeat them when you meet them in court.

Its only heros who make things happen and Nana is a hero. Nana is a hero for acceipting the Supreme Court decision when every ghanaian know the 2012 elections had errors.
Errors in any elections dont give advantage to any particular group or party in a democratic country like ghana.
The Supreme Court call on EC to make sure we dont have errors like those errors we saw in the 2012 elections.
Electoral reforms, Tsatsu dont believe the EC needs any reforming, he he does Nana Addo is a Hero of all ghanaians not only his party.
The petition did bring to light to all ghanaians on how they cant do to detect and stop riggings in elections. Only a hero alone can let that happen in a country like ghana.
Tsatsu was defending a broken Law and Nana Addo will pointing out things that are wrong in the Law. With the supreme court case spanning for eight months with just five minutes of passing judgement, any loser who swallows his pains just like that, should be given A HERO status.
Even if it has gone for the President, and he also accepting it should be accorded the same hero status.
You said he could have gone for appeal, but because he did not, and again left every thing to future and posterity, the whole WIDE world has accorded to him A HERO mantle.
People were waiting for him to say just something opposite of what he said, for them to take the law into their own hands, but his noble ideas did not allow him to go that way.
You can still say he is not a hero, that is your individual mind, but the majority of us in the world we have accorded him the HERO TITLE.

They saw how tsatu threw all the paper work on the floor because he was angry. Acts like that will never make people honor you even with borrowed robes. We saw how Tsatu was dressed in a disgraceful tattered clothes. Tsatsu's dress was always wrinkled and every word that came out of his mouth was filthy. In that regard, no one will honor you with respect, let alone a heroes's medal. At the end of the verdict, it was clear that Nana Addo won the case. According to Victoria Hammah, some of the judges were bribed to do the unthinkable by using Nana Oye Lithur. Everything is clear and we all saw it with our naked eyes that Atuguba lied between his rotten teeth and that ends the story. So in short, Nana deserves a hero's medal. Only jealous individuals like Tsatu tsikata and his NDC idiots will talk against it.
