Certainly, if they could do this to Nkrumah who was 100% honest, 100% patriotic, 1000000% selfless, and was doing everything in the supreme interest of Ghana, will a lesser leader like Mahama not offer the group more ammunition for their sabotage?

And they have no conscience and don't believe that lying is a SIN. In fact, for Ashantis/Akyems, when it comes to politics, they don't believe God exists so lying to get what they want is ok. Just follow every charge NPP levels at the pesent government: it is mainly lies, distortion of facts, suppression of facts, pure fabrication, and largely they use their imagination based on what they used to do.

Dear Ghanaweb family member, please always be guided the fact that there is God's command: THOU SHALT NOT LIE! Certainly God will not let you profit from committing a sin.

It is abundantly clear that the UP group is the number one enemy of Ghana. They will sabotage any government if it is not they in power. THEY START HOUNDING THE GOVERMENT ONE SECOND AFTER ITS INAUGURATION. In deed, they will find something about the inauguration to 'foretell' that the new government will fail!

CEPS imposes exploitatively high import duties on their fellow Ghanaians to frustrate them to abandon their vehicles for want of cash to clear their vehicles at the ports.

Failing to pay import duties after 60 days of arrival at the port, the vehicles are confiscated and auctioned cheaply to Customs officials and politicians.

This wickedness is practiced only in Ghana.

I just paid a total of GHc60,000.00 import duty on a vehicle I bought for GHc37,000.00 (converted to GHc).

This practice by CEPS and Government has created BAD BLOOD between diasporas and Ghana government officials.

This is a time bomb waiting to explode in our own faces.

On the basis of accounting principles the book value of an item becomes zero after five years and so if the bus was more than 5 years it come be sold as a salvage item and any amount realized from a salvage item is considered as a gain to the institution. the amount can range from one cedi to any amount. So the accounting principle which is an international standard was applied in his case. Unless we circumvent this principle our naivety will always make us believe that when things are done rightly we think its rather wrong. By the way I don't no the police commander.

Tata Buses were used in Ghana in the 70's. Aftre 1980 no Tata buses wre imported to Ghana. Therefore the bus in question is nothing than metal scrap.

Are all local politics reported to the national government? However, voters do have the implicit right to communicate with the very person they elected as their representative. Here are some civic lessons for all you smarting off at the mouth without a clue.

Eastern Region, like the Ashanti Region, is NPP stronghold; it implies that most elected officers in the district are likely to be NPP card carrying members. Assuming for a minute that these corrupt activities are true and the people engaged in the alleged misdeeds are NDC affiliates in the region known to be NPP stronghold then what should be the expectation. We know for starters that some from Kyebi like to remind us that everyone is as smart as the few known educated zealots in the US and UK. Why then would a region of some of Ghana’s smart people not know their civic responsibilities as to contact their elected representative in parliament?

May I also remind people that Nana Akufo-Addo, the NPP flag bearer, lawyer extraordinaire and former AG should be able to initiate an official inquiry via the legal courts in the land. Instead we have a community of citizens too out of touch to know how to use the open door policies of their own representatives and yet cast vote for them without anything worthwhile in return.
