  I think the government should consider building a railway line to transport the gas instead of roads due to the weight of the gas. The roads are likely to deteriorate faster than the railway line.

  The President has done well for finally cutting sword to start work on the Alabokazo-Tikobo 1 road. This is long overdue but once work has started it gives cause for celebration. However, out fear is that, the project will not suffer the usual hiccups due to lack of funding. We wish Chinese loan or no Chinese loan some monies would be found somewhere for an uninterrupted work, for the good of the whole populace. After all huge sums monies are coughed up to pay judgment debts and Black Stars despite the dire financial situation we find ourselves as a nation.

  Actually, the safest, cheapest and most dependable way to transport gas is with a pipeline - drawback is that it will only serve gas.

  Actually, the safest, cheapest and most dependable way to transport gas is with a pipeline - drawback is that it will only serve gas.
  
  Railways would at least allow for multiple uses, but the cost and time wasted filling and discharging railway cars, not to mention the risk of railway accident, especially in a country where we don't tend to do things too safely

  The Oil and Gas money should be used exclusively for a Comprehensive NATIONAL RAILWAY SYSTEM to link all Regional and District Capitals in Ghana.
  Part of the Oil & Gas money should also be used to build a Comprehensive SEWERAGE SYSTEMS for all Regional and District Capitals in Ghana to combat contagious diseases like EBOLA,CHOLERA,TYPHOID,etc

  My friend I totally agree with you.Roads in the western region have deteriorated fast because of the use of vehicles to transport heavy raw materials like bauxite to the Takoradi port for exportation.I will even go further to call upon the government to initiate without any more delay the rehabilitation of the rail network in the country.An efficient modern rail transport will accelerate the rapid economic development of the nation.
