All we saw in NPP eight years in office was day light robbery of properties and owning them at all cost. They did it with no shame, penetrated into state reserve lands and forcefully paid peanut for them.
Siphoning from state account and redenominated the currency with impunity. They portrayed glare demonstration of arrogant and abuse of power. It is unbelievable how their numerous presidential initiatives, ended up in “MATREKO WO” island.

NB: the sale of Ghana Airways and its properties abroad, Ghana Telecom, the oil Rig and Ashanti Gold Fields,….These are the enemies, demons and very evil who came to kill steal and destroy. Kuffour did not construct any road in Accra yet he managed to change and rename what his predecessors have done to create the impression that he is working.

From their birth they were thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis.
If you are discern citizen, I will entreat you sit up and think, get knowledge and don’t sell your conscience to these reckless generation who don’t care about Ghana than to seek their self interest. Prof. Mills tried to heal and rejuvenate this nation. He was not spared with the most insult ever known in history. Prof was truthful to his words, that, he will not victimise anyone but would be a president for all Ghanaians. He believed in building Ghana afresh after their spoil but they won’t allow him.

This is what these guys stand and live for “If it’s not them then it’s nobody” What a callous and insensitive generation these are?
Wise up Ghanaians else your generation will suffer more than you are going through now. Begin to think and be creative. Government will only create favourable environment but it is up you to take advantage by your creations. No one can better your life than you. Think of what you can do today; for tomorrow may never be yours.

Please Ablakwa is not the one in charge of establishing the University. He is only speaking as a participant and a deputy minister in charge of Tertiary education at the forum.

It is about time cos Legon used to be the University in E.region until Greater Accra was created. But it does not matter more than creating jobs and taring of the poor roads.It is better to have better roads and jobs for the Region cos we have inough educated people from the Region and as such is one of the brightest regions when it comes to enlightenment.There are a lot of Universities in Ghana and yet most of the graduates do not get jobs to do. This NDC government does NOT get it. They just spend moneys for UNIMPORTANT projects. There are some of the Universities who lack even- funding and facilities and are almost closing. Why can't this good-for nothing Government NOT get off and let the better informed ones come on.

This university will certainly not be training students solely to specialise in Environment and Sustainable Development.Similarly,the University of Development Studies has to be changed to TAMALE UNIVERSITY,University of Education changed to WINNEBA UNIVERSITY and the University of Mines and Technology changed to TARKWA UNIVERSITY.Even the University of Science and Technology which became a full-fledged university in 1961 now has other departments like LAW,POLITICAL SCIENCE,SOCIAL SCIENCE,BUSINESS etc.So why should we label universities with specialized names?

There is no need to set up a separate university in the Eastern Region. Just upgrade K'dua Poly to full university and charge it to specialise in a specific area of Ghana's national developmental efforts.
