As a child growing up in the hands of irresponsible parents, all that Nana Addo saw and learnt from his parents is fighting authority by conniving with enemies of state to plot schemes to destabilise authority. They succeeded in overthrowing Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s government promising to deliver better policies than Nkrumah and make Ghana the Heaven in the black continent.

What did they do with the power

They destroyed what they can destroy, abandoned, sold and looted from everywhere to enrich their families. They also cause all foreigners who are in the country to do business to flee. This is the retaliation meted out to Ghanaians in the 1980’s by Nigerians that has earned us a worldwide name of a rubbish product “Ghana Must Go” bag. This confirms the adage that the evil that men do lives after them.

If Nana loves Ghana he would have accepted his defeat and spare a growing nation that needs investors to create employment for the citizen to move on. This shall go down in history and it will end the endemic disease infested on Ghanaians by these wicked family. They make monies from these activities to fend their family and household other than that what can Nana Addo boast of as the sources of his family wealth .

The gullible party whose existence hinges on the fringes of neo-colonialism. They don’t learn than always going into the gutters. What kind of education do they give to the public other than encouraging their followers to insult authority in the name “free speech”
They cannot use decent words when expressing themselves in public . When they lack ideas or have no alternative suggestion to make; they only result to ganging up people to unilaterally disregard what is at stake by spewing garbage of insult to disregard authority.

They waste their energies in speculating on what bad thing will hit the country or create one to cause disaffection among the people. Do you call these elements thinkers? They have never offered or participated in any productive discussion, neither have they offered at least one solution nor alternative to what confronts us as a country. What they bent on doing is conniving with their foreign agents to hunt a way of derailing our path to economic emancipation.

We need to develop as a nation and this calls for individual change of mind-sets in regard to what everyone can do to improve upon themselves to benefit society.

He is not honest and can't be the chairman of the NPP party. I believe he was rather hired to soil the name of Akufo addo. He is also a criminal and must be arrested and jailed. The EC and the national security should start the process. It is a shame that we have such people in our mist. Any way, Bugri is not a Ghanaian name. The last time I enquired from somebody why he voted for Rawlings and subsequently Mahama, the person's response was that, " because they are handsome". So you see, voting in Ghana has become a "Beauty Contest" rather than a serious national issue. You've said everything that I would say, but the most that touched me was that "NDC is an alien party". Wake up fellow Ghanaians and delve into the beginning and the history of that group, NDC, and the characters that started it, and ask yourself a few questions:

Is Rawlings really a patriotic Ghanaian?

Did Rawlings usurp power to "correct" a corrupt society or to seek fortune of his own?

If Rawlings came to drive corruption out, did he seriously follow that "ambition"? If no, why not?

Did Rawlings' own economic situation IMPROVE after he usurped power? If so, why?

Is Rawlings better-off now than before he took over power BY FORCE?
Or, is Rawlings better off now than his contemporaries he organized his dubious mission with? If so, why?

Does NDC have more aliens living in Ghana as its supporting base than say CPP or NPP? If so, why is that so? Or are resident aliens in Ghana more sympathetic to NDC than NPP or CPP? If so why?

Fellow countrymen/women, what Rawlings started and now known as NDC is shy from patriotism. He staged a coup out of malice and ambition of self aggrandizement. He achieved his self-centred ambition, and therefore opted out satisfied.

Anybody that still hangs on to the coups' fake "principles" is only fooling him/herself, because Rawlings has finished his project and has cealed his safety from prosecution with IMMUNITY clause in our constitution. Akufo Addo and NPP or CPP are sharp contrast to Rawlings and NDC.

Fellow Ghanaians, rethink this NDC thing and seek the INTEREST of Ghana. Before Ghanaians relize the real position of NDC, aliens from the sub-region had taken over Ghana and runing affairs in their own interest.

Wake up Ghanaians, and support parties that represent the INTEREST of Ghana: CPP or NPP. That so called NDC is a tool used by unpatriotic Korean-fathered Rawlings to enrich himself. He achieved his ambition:he's filthy rich today and still living-off the state. So I can say his mission is accomplished. Open your eyes NDC suporters!!!

This is an extremely hard working man who has built a significant law practice and has made sound business investments, which today contributes its quota to the development of Ghana through the taxes it pays. I am proud to support Nana and Dr Bawumia for what they stand for. You obviously do not live in Ghana and you write as such. In 2014, when Ghana is on the verge of implosion due to the economic hardships caused by charlatans masquerading as Government, you sit in London and talk about neo colonialism. We all wish for a better Ghana, with a committed leadership,which shows itself to have the people at heart. You do obviously have a chip on your shoulder because you perceive Nana Addo to be a western stooge, and that is where you are wrong my friend. I think that you need to be a bit more objective in your analysis of Nana Addo and the NPP. They are not gullible in the least. It is a foretaste of what lies in store for Ghana if Akuffo Addo loses the 2016 election. As this is a very likely prospect Ghana can brace itself for an Ivorian style crisis. Akuffo Addo simply lacks mass appeal and in my view is probably the main stumbling block likely to prevent the NPP being returned to power in 2016. His personality flaws have been a heavy millstone round the neck of the NPP. It seems Nana Akuffo Addo is determined to either be president or go down with the NPP ship. Nana Akuffo Addo and his supporters must surely realize that simply hounding out NPP rivals does not even begin to address Akuffo Addo's fundamental hurdle and challenge: HIS LACK OF MASS APPEAL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.He should have allowed younger rivals a chance to participate in the in-house electoral process. Demonizing and chasing out younger rivals will inevitably greatly weaken the NPP as a political force.Unfortunately it is beginning to look as if a poorly performing NDC has little to fear in 2016 from a dysfunctional NPP.

Let us not forget that proud rich American republicans do such things to let everyone know they are republican ad vote republican. There is no such thing as a secret ballot with them.

Now - by stating that the voters themselves took pictures of their vote and its details as proof to ensure that their votes were not misrepresented or placed into another bucket, then the errors could be rectified. The procedures to check and confirm the source of each vote and account for it was being conducted. So until someone asks for that information, everyone's vote is a secret ballot. For party members, theres nothing wrong with this. Its a good open method so that if anyone cries foul, you can back it up.

In the past few days, Mr. Alan Kyerematen, three time flagbearer hopeful of our great NPP and his campaign have been on a mission to bastardize the ongoing Presidential Primary process flying allegations of intimidation and an uneven playing field, ostensibly to justify his poor 7.9% showing at the Super Delegates Congress held last Sunday.

Of particular concern to me, is how Mr. Kyerematen and his campaign, in their attempt to further this agenda have deliberately made the three regions of the north their target and have been on rampage running down the whole process in the North; making spurious allegations which can only be sustained in the fertile imaginations of Mr. Kyerematen and his supporters.

The message to Mr. Kyerematen even before I proceed is, do not provoke the North. That is the last thing you should try to do because we were not born today. We have been witnesses of the actions of yourself and your assigns concerning the North and how it has grossly affected the chances of the Party in the North since you decided to see the NPP flagbearership as your birthright in 2007 and how those actions have affected our chances in the North especially in the 2008 elections. No more will we sit and watch you run down the Party and its structures in the North from the comfort of your Accra and Kumasi homes.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen is today complaining of intimidation and an uneven playing field? To borrow from Philip Addison, this coming from Mr. Kyerematen is very rich. In as much as we always try to avoid the temptation of going back into history, the actions and posturing of Mr. Kyerematen and his spokespersons like Nana Ohene Ntow and the bitter Hilda Addo, leave some of us no option than to dig into the past and expose their hypocrisy, double standards and total lack of principles.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen, is where he is today and considered (rather absurdly) as the second force in the NPP because of all the acts of intimidation and open coercion of the people in his favor prior to the 2007 Legon Congress. It was these acts of intimidation and a deliberate exercise by the then executive commandeered by very highly placed people, which ensured that Alan Kyerematen secured 32% of votes at the Legon Congress and on which he rode to cause disunity within the NPP after that Congress. Without that direct interference and intimidating tactics, Mr. Kyerematen could have very well been another Arthur Kennedy at the 2007 Legon Congress and indeed time has been vindicating this belief, as his support has continued to wane from 32% to 19% in 2010 and now to 7% (59 votes) in 2014.

As I said in an earlier paragraph, we in the North cannot forget certain actions in the past and it is only strange that of the lot, Mr. Kyerematen, who has by far been the biggest beneficiary of uneven playing fields and intimidation in the internal processes of the NPP, is the one crying wolf today when indeed the whole process is under a Chairman and General Secretary who have made no attempt to hide their preference for him.

What is this intimidation and uneven playing field I talk about? In the run up to the December 2007 Congress, Mr. Kyerematen was declared as the preferred choice of President Kufuor; this is a fact no one can dare to deny. To this extent, every force and tool of the Executive was marshaled to ensure that Mr. Kyerematen became Flagbearer of the NPP. Nowhere was this force more visible than the North

On November 19, 2007 barely a month to the Legon Congress, some DCEs were fired unceremoniously by President Kufuor; these DCEs included Mada Ismail Beliwie (Sissala West), Adams Mahama Isahaku (Wa East), Abdul-Rahman Gumah (Bawku Municipality), Moses Appiah Abaare (Bawku West), Elizabeth Pigit Poyari (Bunkpurugu), Alhaji Yakubu Bukari (Zabzugu-Tatale), Salamatu Elizabeth Furgor (Bole) and Sebastian Tibil Bisnab (Talensi-Nabdam).

Their crime was simple, they had refused to bend to the excessive force brought to bear on them by Mr. Kwadwo Mpiani and his representative in the North, Paul Afoko (who at the time also doubled as coordinator for the Alan Campaign in the North) for them to support the bid of Mr. Alan Kyerematen and do all within the constituencies that fell within their districts to ensure that delegates selected were predisposed to Alan Kyerematen as other DCEs across the country were doing openly.

Some of these DCEs preferred Alhaji Aliu Mahama, but not even the office of the Vice President, could stop the bulldozing Alan Kyerematen Campaign from getting what it wanted and punishing “recalcitrant” officials who were refusing to back his destiny. Indeed the machinations and intimidating tactics were so terrifying that other DCEs were even afraid to extend basic courtesies to the then sitting Vice President during his visits to their Districts.

But November 2007 is even far because these intimidating and ‘will-twisting’ tactics started long before. At the end of July 2007, the Castle took one decision that went a long way to destroy the NPPs chances for the 2008 elections in the two upper regions. Mr. Ambrose Derry, Upper West Minister who was performing tremendously well and who together with the Party in the region were laying the foundations for a capture of the region was abruptly reassigned to the Presidency as Minister of State. The fate of his compatriot in the Upper East, Boniface Agambilla, was worse. He had been in office for only a few months and was doing tremendously well for the Region but strangely he was dismissed from office. The crimes of these two gentlemen were same as that of the DCEs mentioned above. These two had remained steadfast in their decision not to support Mr. Kyerematen; they had to therefore give way.

Indeed, it is a well known fact that the NPP would have captured the Nabdam seat in the 2008 Elections had Mr. Boniface Agambilla not been dismissed; eventually and to vindicate this belief, he captured it in 2012 from long time MP, Moses Asaga.

These actions and other acts of unhidden subversion of the powers of Constituency executives and Regional executives by the Alan Kyerematen camp, led by Paul Afoko, created serious disunity in the ranks of the Party in the three regions of the North and weakened the Party’s resolve to do serious battle ahead of the 2008 Elections and it is only now that the Party in the North seems to have recovered from these actions and is forging ahead to do all it can to wrestle power from the NDC in 2016.

It is for this reason why I sounded the warning earlier that, not again. We in the North will not allow Alan Kyerematen to once again destroy the little progress we are making. No!

What Mr. Kyerematen should know by now is that the people of the North cannot be intimidated to go in any direction against their will. If the people of the North can be intimidated, Mr. Kyerematen would have secured the votes of delegates of the three regions in 2007 but that was not the case despite all the force and billions sent into the three regions by Paul Afoko in attempt to buy the will of the people. So once again, Mr. Kyerematen should not provoke us.

2. MILLS' SUPPORTERS MISBEHAVED EVERY TIME NDC WAS SELECTING A FLAGBEARER (FOR 2004, 2008, AND 2012). THEY DID EVEN WORSE THINGS AND I REFRAINED FROM BLAMING MILLS. HOW CAN I BLAME AKUFO ADDO THE FIRST TIME I HEAR SOME OF HIS SUPPORTERS HAVE MISBEHAVED ? I WILL BE A HYPOCRITE TO DO THAT.
