These half-baked graduates are ill prepared to appreciate the nitty gritty of real world issues that affect citizens Kofi and Ama. Textbook education (which Ghanaians love) is limited in its scope and scale. Case studies, hands-on project management and the inherent critical thinking that follow, will begin to change the way these goons think. Ghanaians should also stop perceiving public service as a means to fatten themselves. Service means doing for others. "Do you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth?" I was in a group that did a case study for Ford Motors before graduating. And Ford used our recommedations in the real world. In Ghana, we talk too much and do little. We die for titles and do little: Dr., Professor, Ohene.... and we swim in filth. Cholera uncontrolled in Ghana? Legon & KNUST grads, get the heel out of parliament.
