What about that?

The tape should be handed over to any of the TV stations.
Please, Mr. Commissioner of Police, accept this and let it be the law of the land. We will all see what will happen.

we all know that the police collect bribes on the road everyday. However this act is in the right direction if the cops in that area is not angry.

This story is BS. The police took my money today. I was on my cellphone while driving, he pulled me over and after two minutes he let me ago but not until I offered him 20 cedis which he gladly took.

This driver must not be used as an escape goat. The Government and the Police hierarchy must wake up and take stringent measures to eradicate police bribery on our roads to save lives.

All those cars would be impounded and most of the drivers would face heavy fines. We need the transportation but for environmental reasons and also accidents they have to be safe at all the times on the road. I would like to save lives.

I think the driver should have felt free to offer such a "gift" to the COD herself. The occurrence should inform the police about the rather negative image they possess in the eyes of the Ghanaian public.

To the best of my knowledge the worst enemy of a Trotro driver is the police themselves. It's B.S. to say insurance companies won't pay if the driver is driving without a license. First of all, you don't insure drivers, you insure the car so that anyone who sits in it is covered. And why should a driver be arrested for a broken light? It is a waist of police resources which needs to be address.
The government need a way of collecting revenue from these driver by using the American system. Give them cash tickets for them to pay because all these offenses are not criminal, they are misdemeanors.
The police is too corrupt and the officer would have taken the money had the senior man not been there. Trust me the driver did what he knew best on that road anytime he was stopped and that is why he tried to give out the money. JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE!
