I can help you by quoting Ezekiel 16:49
"‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy."

Meaning, it was people like you, who made God angry, the people who did not show care and hospitality.

This makes sense to what Jesus said in Matt 25:45
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."

If you deny the rights of gays, you are denying rights for Jesus. You are the one not learning from the history.

However, this apparently 'small' proportion of the populace alone contribute between 60 to 70 percent of all HIV/AIDS cases! How can a so-called Christian castigate the West for spreading the "evil" of homosexuality whilst espousing their staunch Africanist views when at the same time, their "Christianity" originated from their colonial masters? It makes no sense. Furthermore, these arguments of the human race dying out are ludicrous. This planet is OVERPOPULATED. I know that you Mr writer your mentality is like that of a French guy I met in Montreal, Quebec who always say that the Christians say that Christ is coming but for two thousand years he hasn't come. The foolish man will say they meant my friend but not me; it was the people of Sodom and Gomora but not the Gays and Lesbians of Ghana and Africa. The issue about gays and lesbianism keep on featuring every now and then on the media, with the ultimate hope, among adherents, that the practice would be championed by our society.

Let us rather pray and work to reverse this, because these acts are abhorrent to God.

Nature speaks to us that it is improper, and I am not even referring to Scriptures yet.

Mankind has a responsibility towards his creator and humanity. Therefore, when we clamor for our rights we have to remind ourselves of these responsibilities, too.

The inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, despised what was visibly contrary to the warnings of nature, and the account is recorded for our instruction. It is a warning for every nation under the sun.

The practice is NOT a "sexual orientation". It is sin, and it has to be dealt with as such. And, not until it is confronted as sin, it can not be dealt with.

You are right in saying that there is so much hypocrisy in society. Nevertheless, the fact that people are openly against same sex unions is to tell you that our society cannot and would not tolerate further immoral behaviors.

God has written his laws in our hearts, therefore, there are things you do not need anyone to tell you to or not to do.

Also, do not make the mistake of measuring standards with what you see around you or society in general. Let your standard be the WORD of God.

It would not be a good thing for one to die and find himself or herself on the other side of the divide. That is why we have to advise, admonish, warn and even rebuke, if necessary, each other, in love and in godliness so that the grace of God will abound in us.

You can aspire to overcome sin, by seeing your self risen above it. Also, do not allow immoral or ungodly thoughts to get hold on you. Guide yourself against what you see, watch and hear. Exercise self discipline and respect for yourself. Do not make any allowance for any conduct that will bring shame to you, your name, your family and love ones. Associate with people whose conversations are godly and always be determined to live pure. Let everyday count on you behalf, for the days are evil.
