  If a 34 yr old man forcefully and violently rapes a Woman with swollen thighs,groin and broken hymen the culprit is fined and made to sign a Bond to be of good behavior.And when an 18 yrs old unemployed fell a tree in the forest, grown by nature to make a living in a Country without a single Social Welfare Benefits,it is termed "illegal Chainsaw Operator,and Sentenced to Six.months in prison instead of Counselling.

  There were not such Stupid laws at the time.
  Yes,we agree that we have to save the environment,however, what plans did the gov't put in place at the time,to train and help these Chainsaw Operators to become self-employed in other sectors of the economy, either than to Sit behind long table/desk in Accra to ban a very important Economic activity of the way we live to this day,without any thought about how these operators whose livelyhood depends on tree felling as a legal sources of Energy in the Country then to
  survive economically.Their operations were grounded overnight and left to fend for themselves in a Country without a single Social Welfare Benefits.
  I hope God help me to have the means to help this 18 years old youth.
