  This is the problem we have in Africa. Highway is a Highway. Why should we allow hawkers to make the pavements of the Highway as a market place?? I was in Ghana last year with a friend and we had driven on the highway few times to Achimota, it was a complete eye sore watching hawkers crossing recklessly to the other side of the highway to sell chewing stick to passengers. I think we need to be serious here.

  It is in limbo because of corruption.
