Let me remind all the NPP members the argument Nana Akufo-Addo made at the party’s Congress in Sunyani in 1998 in his opposition to giving candidate John Agyekum Kufuor the second chance after losing to Rawlings in 1996. Here was Nana Akufo: “I call on members of the party [NPP] to embrace change in leadership of the party. Such changes are far from harming the fortunes of the party. Change improves the chances of political parties as a new face eventually means new ideas, new methods and new strategies…any candidate elected as the NPP's flag-bearer has already secured 30% of the total valid votes. Failure to garner the remaining 20% plus 1 means the candidate has failed, and therefore must be changed” (ref: Ghana Daily Graphic, October 8, 1998). If John Kufuor back then did not deserve to be nominated for the second consecutive time, why is it okay now for Nana Akufo-Addo to seek the party’s nomination the third consecutive time, having led NPP to two painful electoral defeats in 2008 and 2012? Well, it seems like Nana Akufo-Addo is getting ready to take NPP to the electoral slaughterhouse in 2016 all over again. Let the self-denials ignore the warnings

It makes no sense whatsoever! The only thing expected of the Alan Cash campaign is to rightly condemn the wanton violence associated with the Akufo-Addo camp and promise that an Alan Cash victory would be a far cry from the "all die be die" nonsense of Akufo-Addo!

This election is an internal party matter. There is hardly anything any other political party can do for any of the candidates. I am no admirer of Alan Cash, but I was hoping that his victory could move us into a less violent campaigning than the one we have seen from the "we Akans" war-lord, Mr. Bin L'addo!

I have lost complete hope in the Alan Cash campaign with such utter nonsense!

I know in the US non-party members could vote in some primaries but not aware if that happens in Ghana and in particular with NPP primaries. How could NDC members join Alan to get him elected on October 18, 2014? If Alan had secured the NPP flagbeareship then he could have made such rally call to disenchanted NDC members.

It has been observed that the tone and manner of Ohene Ntow's campaigning for Alan has been a gift to the NDC.

Nana Akufo Addo cannot win the elctions, Ntow says.

Akufo Addo is too ugly. Or too old. Or lacks the ability to unite the party or the country or even his own household!

Who with a little loyalty to his own party, the NPP, would go as low as Ntow has gone, knowing fully well that the NDC would seize on some of these negative campaigning tactics to attac,k Akufo Addo?

And now, he is inviting NDC people to come and help him defeat Akufo Addo! Yieeee -- a pact with the devil?

If Alan had any intellignece (how can he since he employs such a fool?) he woul;d tell this Ntow fool to shut up. Alan says Akufo Addo is his "brother", but Alan's spokesperson invites the NDC to come and join Alkan's campaign and destroy Akufo Addso so that should in case Akufo Addo wins the fla-bearer election, Mahama will find it easy to defeat Akufo Addo.

And the NPP is watching this and pretending that this is an NPP-only campaign? Isn't Ntow inviting the NDC to come infiltrate the NPP, and destroy Akufo Addo? Has Dan Botwe read this? What has he got to say about it? Has JKfuor read this? Has Mpiani read this? Are these the sort of NPP-killer-gang you weant to support?

In the probable event of Alan K losing the contest, a potent arsenal is placed and sharpened in the hands of the opponents of the same party you stand for. The astute politician knows, the only way to battle fruitfully and possibly wrestle power from the NDC is to win some of it's supporters' heart.

So if this strategy should work, which would not happen in a million years, would Ohene Ntow expect those same NDC supporters to vote for Alan K in the general elections, when those supporters would rather see their party in gov't, no matter how bad the country is being governed? Frankly speaking, Ohene Ntow has been a disappointment to the Alan camp and to the NPP. This is even supposed to be an internal contest, and so how does Ohene Ntow expect these NDC supporters to support Alan K and convince NPP delegates to vote for an NPP flagbearer? This is amazing.
You know you are on the ropes when you are courting the support of your opposition in an internal contest with a campaign message of warding off a candidate and by extension a party with a proclivity for violence, which rather interestingly is not backed by any evidence which would stand scrutiny in a court of law. Amongst the vast array of talents in the NPP, Alan k would be better than any candidate the NDC would present, but amongst that array of talent in the NPP, he needs to prove he's the best material and that would be decided by the custodians of the NPP, so to court the support of the opposition, at the expense of the custodians of your own party, is bad strategy and goes to show he cannot cut the tale of the tape, because the measures/benchmarks would be quite stringent in his own party. Ohene Ntow does not know politics, however wish Alan K good luck in this contest.

Nana Ntow is interested in fleecing Alla Cash to his advantage. He is 100% aware that the odds are against Allan, but for his selfish interest, he is pushing Allan to spend more cash so that he can benefit in the long run.
This treacherous solicitation by Nana Ohene Ntow would further reduce Allan's votes in the impending delegates conference by 20%. The presence of NDC funtionary at Allan's campaign would annoy the NPP supporters, and this would seriously affect Allan's future standing with the rank and file of the party. These NDC supporters among Allan's campaign team cannot vote at the NPP conference on October 18th, and so what is the point in soliciting for their support to antagonize the NPP faithfuls?
Allan must sack Nana Ntow immediately
because he hasn't got what it takes to be a spokesperson for an aspiring presidential candidate. He is next to a fool. In any case, it is a known fact that NDC supporters have been attending Allan's rallies, and their numbers might have deceived Allan that he is in good standing in the NPp.
