Let's wait patiently for the truth to roll out, for elsewhere on this forum, Castro's father is reported to confirm, also, that his son is alive. He base his argument on the fact that, he himself is a mariner and knows that a person in life-jacket will, at worst, float on a driver , even if dead; and Castro was in life jacket and knows how to swim. He, therefore, suspects kidnapping or something else.

So, in all , it is good for the lawyer to 'provoke' the police and the nation to get to the very bottom of the matter.

Let's not insult him or say things that will lower his morale because surprises can come from painstaking investigations as is going on at the Commisssion working on the Black Stars involvement in Brazil.

It is indeed shameful and downright embarrassing to the legal profession in Ghana that it has as a member a numbskull like Ampaw.....I don't know where he studied law, but law and science these days are intertwined, there is an enormous interdependence between the two....the former relying heavily on the latter to promote judicial fairness and equity.......

Lawyer Ampaw is a provocateur, pure and simple...he knows damn well that the tragic drowning of Castro and his girlfriend was accidental...there was nothing deliberate about this sad event....the two young individuals threw precaution to the air and sadly paid a heavy price...

To insinuate, as Ampaw foolishly and carelessly has done,that the Gyan brothers had a hand in the deaths, is the high point of stupidity....

Look I'm not insinuating anything but it is Investigation 101 that when someone is declared missing and he was in the company of an entourage or group of persons they should be considered 'persons of interest' especially when circumstances about the disappearnace leaves some questions unanswered. I was beside myself last Friday hearing the Police woman from Tema (forgot her name)after 2 months doesn't even know the name of the Alberta lady who invited Janet Bandu along. HOWWWWWWWWWWWWW? The police have infact done a VERY LOUSY job with Castro's disappearance and wondering if a celebrity (argue it or not he is one in Ghanaian standards)like Castro can be left to 'dry' by the police what about the average Joe like you and I? God help us all!

That is a poor choice of words, Masawudu.....a drowning is an accident on the basis of the fact that the deaths of the two young individuals were unplanned and spontaneous.... they did not set out that fateful morning to end their lives, they had planned on returning to their friends and family at the end of their fun-filled weekend...unfortunately, however, they were swept to sea by furious waves.....and for you and others still tethered to some outlandish notion that their deaths were largely the doings of some supernatural forces is beyond the pale...incredulous....

Last year, my coworker went out to have fun with his family and friends on a river.... In eerily similar circumstances to Castro's tragic end, my friend's daughter tumbled into the river from a boat, and instantly he jumped in to save his precious daughter, but he took the dive without a lifejacket.

Of course, he was immediately swept away by the river's strong currents and he remained missing for days until his remains were found....no one in his entourage was questioned
for the simple reason that Police found evidence of his death irrefutable...he drowned...no foul play was suspected....

Castro and Bandu drowned and it serves no useful purpose for the families of the victims to keep trotting out silly and outdated notions that somehow, somebody spiritually claimed their lives....

Castro was reported seen jumping into the river to rescue his girlfriend...and both reported disappeared under huge waves. This in a nutshell is the whole sad
saga of Castro and his friend. There is no need for an investigative analysis...for the simple reason that no one was reported observed pushing Castro or his girlfriend into the waters of the Ada river...there was no foul play in their disappearance and there the matter should end.

Don't blame the Police....they are handicapped as it is, with limited resources and little or no help from authorities, they are doing the best they can under the circumstances.....

This man suddenly poppes up from no where and projects himself as mister-know-all. He has opinion on any subject, from archeology to zoology. My free caution to him is that if he seeks to popularize himself by jumping on every radio station to make himself be heard on whatever topic, he is rather putting himself on the high pedestal of becoming nuisance and inviting trouble for himself. It's good that the Police is taking him on on this Castro case. Everyone is soon going to find out that indeed, he knows next to nothing about this case, but is just trying to make himself popular at expense of the unfortunate families of the missing holiday makers.

IF THE POLICE CAN INVITE PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND IF FOUND TO DECEIVE THE PUBLIC, THEY SHOULD BE PUT BEFORE THE LAW COURT FOR PEOPLE TO COME OUT WITH FACTS. I THINK THE POLICE DOING THIS WILL RAISE THEIR IMAGE.

He confirmed rather that the lady Janet was dead,but Castro was alive!That a key chain attached to the hands of Castro was removed;the basis of his hypothesis that,Castro was alive and wanted to know who had removed the key chain from Castro's hands.I do not understand this part but I am intuiting it is the ID attached to the riders of the Jet ski..If this is true,then the implications are,first;Castro returned to land for the key to be removed,or Castro never went on the water.
Or secondly,the ski incident never happened at all!
So if the ski incident never took place,what is the actual incident that happened?The only equation will be Janet.If his premises that Janet is dead and Castro is alive,he pointing to a foul play involving Janet!But here is where his story takes a twist.He scorns at the fact that,Castro was sighted with a razor cut,wearing a cap and goes on to say that's deception!So back to square one.
As Steed Asprey maintains,when you take out the chaff,whatever remains,no matter how unreasonable it is,is the truth.Facts area key attached to Castro's hand was retrieved.So it means Castro went on the ski and returned without the lady.Fact That someone helped helped Castro to get away from the resort.Why?
The laws of physics dictates that dead bodies in waters will float because of gases emanating from decay,unless they are well weighted down with objects like,anchor,blocks or weights.No body has been found,,and our dearest Lawyer has maintained the Police were searching at the wrong place.Which means,no incident happened on the lake.So where did the "foul play"take place?At the Resort or another place?
The only tenable conclusions,if Castro is alive is,he had something to do with the disappearance of Janet.Or they were both victims of foul play.
Too much ambiguity in this story!So if Castro is alive,why is he hiding?Why are people trying to bribe his parents?There is no statute of limitations on murder,so why should he run?If there was no death story about Janet,people will maintain,he is playing the Machiavelli card.But I doubt if Castro is up there to plan such a stunt.
