The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.

Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.

Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.

Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Recently, I was given a quote of $264.90 per night to stay at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. I have also stayed at Golden Tulip and Holiday Inn. What are the other expensive hotels in Ghana that attract $456 per night, especially for long term stay (usually much cheaper)? The only hotels in the world I have stayed in on business trips that are more expensive than the $456 are the Marriott Marquis New York Times Square and the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (barely). This appears to be indirect way of stealing and these people go unpunished? How can a poor country like Ghana endure such high levels of stealing? Is Mahama sleeping?

This GREAT MAN introduced measures to gain economic self-reliance and self-sufficiency. The launch of the Seven Year Development Plan in 1964 was expected to transform the structure of the Ghanaian economy from one that depended on the export of a few raw materials into an industrialized and prosperous society where the basic needs of its citizens are met.

The Plan started the Akosombo Dam, the Tema harbor and township, Tema Oil Refinery, VALCO, Tema Food Complex, Sekondi-Takoradi sea port, built schools with free and compulsory education, revolutionized agriculture, a de-tribalized society, created integrated industries - nothing less than 50 factories for the production of industrial and consumer goods located strategically across the country - Abosso Glass Factory, Komenda Sugar Factory, two tomato factories in Northern Ghana namely in Wenchi and Pwalugu, the Meat Processing factory at Bologatanga, housing projects included in Accra (Labone Estate, Kanda Estates, Osu Ringway Estates, Airport Residential Area) - in Kumasi (Patasi Estate, Kwadaso Estate, Buokrom Estates, North and South Suntreso), the building of three new International airports, starting with the KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, to opening up Ghana as the gateway to the rest of Africa, and set the pace in development for the continent....do I need to go on?

Call him a socialists, a communist or whatever but. if he could deliver for our nation with those 'labels', please tell me what the so-called democracy has done for Ghana, in the past twenty something years?????

Fast forward to 2014, and POVERTY stares at you everywhere you turn in Ghana. Al you see is just a few mediocre developments here and there, in the mist of abundant FILTH! Which is the order of the day!

He was overthrown by AFROPEANS for the creation of this rotten Ghana?
The 7th highest producers of GOLD in the world? With an oil find??????
All these inherited rich natural resources have been siphoned out on the cheap, by our CORRUPT regimes which followed his overthrow. All the way to this present day NDC and NPP parties.....who have NOTHING to offer Ghanaians but, li-service after lip-service. And the cycle of POVERTY continues in the name of democracy??????

Ghana, should NEVER be in this situation at all. Our enslaved minds, makes us believe we are POOR!
POOR, in thinking, POOR in our time-keeping....POOR in everything we do.

We even pay expats on our oil rigs, doing the same jobs as Ghanaians 150% more than our own.......Yes! We pay our workers POORLY!

This goes to show how STUPID we are as a people. And this is also the case when we employ foreign coaches for our national team. We pay them more than our own. How stupid can we be? And even to the extent of holding us to ransom, with their pay demands. Yes! Prof! OUR NATION IS ROTTEN TO THE BONE!!!!

And we go on to wonder why we cannot put to good use the basic COMMON SENSE, GOD ALMIGHTY bestowed upon us? Are we for real??????
