For sanity to prevail in the NPP, Afoko and Agyepong must be forced and/or pushed to resign. Otherwise, they will continue causing mayhem in the party. In the short time they have been in power, just count how many incidents involving the two top executive positions have surfaced. In all the four years of the previous executives, we never had even half as many incidents reported in the media.
They know all too well that there is greater support in the party for Akuffo Addo. This was the situation before they took up their positions. If they realise they cannot work under such condition, then they must move out and wait until their preferred candidate becomes the preferred candidate for the majority of the party members.
It is more difficult to try to change the minds of 80% of the people (according to the latest statistics) than that of 20%. Afoko and Agyepong can tow the line of the majority and keep their post for now. It was even wrong for the general secretary of the party to use word like: ".... the contempt it deserves ...." when dealing with a committee of the party. He must not think that he is tough! Not at all! He is power drunk and foolish! A sensible leader knows how to deal with the people he is supposed to lead in the most trying situation. Even if Prof Ocquaye's committee had run faster tha their feet could carry them, it was the duty of the general secretary to put them back on the straight, rather than show the where power lies. Because, Akofo and Agyepong do not wield more power than the ordinary members of the party!
Let Afoko and Agyepong advise themselves before someone start moving for a vote of no confidence in them, because when that happens, there will be no turning back!

The argument about Professor Mills is neither her nor there. compare the two characters ie Nana Addo and Prof. Mills and your guess is as good as mine. NPP your true colors are showing. This is what you are made of. You never accept anything that never goes against you. Accept defeat and lookout for where you fell short and correct your mistakes. I see NPP in opposition for a long time if you cannot put your house in order.

One day in my home town an elderly woman came to me and quizz:"is it not
the NPP everybody in the town talking about to replace NDC that confusion has errupted in its camp?"

This confusion is damaging the NPP more than good.

The agenda of Afoko and Agyepong must be FORWARD LOOKING instead of the current INWARD LOOKING.

If they do not change for better,the NPP will remain in the opposition for many years to come.

Finally, Afoko and Agyepong were neither elected to EXECUTIVE POSITION, and they are answerable to a body under the Party's constitution.

These two have no respect for the electorate.

Let there be ceasefire. I,m also appealing to Perry and those dismissed to take it in good faith as their time can come.So far as the secretary and chairman don,t want to work with them,they will make things and the working environment hostile to them so the earlier they accept , the better it will be. thanks and Long Live NPP.
