I feel sorry for my people -- a deadly disease like Ebola breaks out in West Africa and the leaders are sitting down on their asses waiting for donor countries to come and save them and their people. Wow! what a continent! Even Cholera has become daunting for Ghana.

The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.

Security forces were assigned to his team instead of dispatching them to those unsecured medical facilities where ebola patients are running out to the streets and communities.
Situations like this needs practical approaches and common sense, not face saving.

Even countries with well established health system in the west ans else where are advising their citizens not to travel to west Africa unless necessary. But what did he as president of almost a fail state with a broken health services do? Risking his entire country by hopping with his entourage to ebola infected countries.

Let's be serious and stop this NDC, NPP nonsense for Christ sake.
Every reasonable person will tell you his presence there was not practically helpful to all countries involved.
The risk outweighs the benefits.
