Npp did not tell the developmental partners as you call them to hold on to their money and not tocontribute towards our budget when the world Bank and IMF said our ggovernment salaries consume more than 50 percent(estimates put it btw 60 to 70 percent) and that it has to be reduced. How is the government going to reduce the salary of workers?

Is it going to reduce workers salaries? No a chance in hell when workers are demanding pay increase.

Will the government reduce the workforce? Yes, by not hiring more people to replace retiring workers.

When Mills went to IMF in 2009, that is one of the measures Mills was forced to adopt, freeze hiring more workers. It has been done to this government before but these lying bastards will continue to deceive Ghanaians.

Firing or reducing government workforce is not on the table because Ricketts, is he a Ghanaian don't have a clue what is going on.

Hi Sarps, this Rickett guy is being evasive in the extreme, to say the least. It appears he has been caught with his pants down by saying we have been with the IMF for a long time and only wish them to know the home grown policies we have adopted in Ghana.

You see, these IDIOTS in government think they can always use certain flowery language to put us to bed because we are all as IDIOTS AS THEMSELVES.

The fact of the matter is, they find it difficult to tell the public that 'Charlie, let's face it, we have FAILED BIG TIME and even the fact we are producing OIL FOR EXPORT IN COMMERCIAL QUANTITIES, we still can't budget things properly".

They have always had the assumption that Christmas comes everyday. But now that they have been proven wrong, they have decided to place GHANA UNDER RECEIVERSHIP.

We have told them over and over again that the Policies they were embarking upon would send the country into BANKRUPTCY, and here we are!!!

They have been badly exposed to the point that our Trading Partners, some of whom had been contributing to our BUDGETS from day one are now FED UP WITH THEM.

AND IT IS MOSTLY TO DO WITH THEIR INCOMPETENCE AND CORRUPTION IN THE HIGHEST ORDER.

My Brother, I have to stop here before my Blood Start to Boil. However, these BRAIN DEAD IDIOTS SHOULD BE SENT TO IRAN FOR THE AYATOLLAHS TO GIVE THEM 79 LASHES OF THE SWINE CANE ON THEIR BARE BUTTOCKS.

However, that may NOT be enough; but rather innocuous. Therefore the people of Ghana should send them the largest message of voting them out in 2016 with a MAJORITY THAT MAY SPELL A DOOM FOR THEM NEVER TO COME BACK AGAIN!!!

WHAT A NATION WRECKERS!!!!

In Ghana the area of most government expenditure are 1. Civil service2.education/teachers, Health sectors. They told a big lie or denied, that they were going to the IMF for bailout, when they were organizing the Senchi conference. One of the reasons the NPP did not attend. Now viola, they ran to the IMF. So how can we belief anything NDC say?? What they planned and endorsed at Senchi is what they say they are presenting to the IMF. What they call home grown solutions. We live to see.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the only economic action they are willing to accept and recommend to borrowers. These restructuring, a.k.a austerity measures have not worked any where in world economic history and they have never delivered either on their intended results. Governments go to the IMF because they have no other choices. I will strongly recommend ''Austerity: The History of a Dangerous Idea'' by Mark Blyth. The first victim in IMF-induced restructuring has always been the loss of massive public service jobs. Thus, for anyone to assume that there is no price/cost to pay that the loss of public service jobs will not happen, or that public services will stay intact, has a very short memory even of recent IMF history -- Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Ireland readily come to mind. Let us give the government a chance and hope that the government is right, perhaps they have been given promises by the IMF that include the non-touching of public service jobs or services. That will definitely be a first, because it will be absolutely out of character for the IMF.

Why is is fool trying to lie to ghanaians and bailout from IMF. IMF would not give money to any country unless that country start and do what IMF ask of them.
It happen in EU where all govt works had to be sacked and re-employ with different company doing the same job. In doing so the people dont rely on govt to pay them, instead the privete companies arrange paid for workers from the govt.
No govt office will be getting money straght from the govt.
Audit service will be private accountable to the govt.
Its not a bad idea if the people understand, in denial is not good for anybody when we all know IMF gives money ONLY on its terms.
Even UK and EU had to follow what the slim woman saids, if ghana dont obey and foow ghana will not get the money, its simple as that. Who will give to to people who cant manage without showing them how to manage the money and economy.
Any fool within the govt who can tell the truth should shut up. Those in govt who understands IMF bailout should be brave and tell ghanaians the truth, in doing so will help ghanaians ready and prepare to face it. Its real and nobody in ghana can stop it.
