The rates could have been taken from Ghana News Agency (GNA) and Zongo Lane on the black market. They are nearer home and would have given the figures on the ground. No wonder
Dr. Bawumia is an accountant not economist and he has been making wrong assessment about issues he knows little about.
I really doubt Bawumia has any economics brain as his Dargatti economics is rather killing confidence in the economy.

Ghanaian banks also get their rates from Reuters yet their rates are hugely different from that of BoG. Clearly there is an element of fraud in the official rates provided by BoG.
